i had some thing from the holiday sampler.
I smoked an Añejo 49 yesterday.
Over the past few months, I've mostly been smoking Padron 1964 Exclusivos and getting them for my friends.
I had always preferred the 1926s over the 1964s but I may be changing my mind about that.:smiley3:
Where is Loadz?
I wanna see what cigars he's smoking today.:smiley37:
What's funny is I've smoked every one of those cigars he's posted about (Edit: I've never had a Work of Art natural, only WOAMs) over my time of smoking cigars and loved every one of 'em.:smiley4:
Can't wait to see what his next choice is.
Lol
Seriously, don't send me anything. I for real am really drunk right now. Glad you're smoking some good stuff. Have another imo. Maybe I'll see if I still have your address. ;)

Right now finishing up an aged Padron 3000 natural. Damn good.
Bobalu "The Boxer" - The Austin 6th street store mascot, the owners boxer, passed from cancer and this is the commemorative blend. I've had a couple aging for about 10 months now. Good smoke so far. Cool dog too. I used to hang around the shop to smoke, drink Columbian espressos and shoot the breeze with the rollers. Good times.

Saturday was the Te-Amo I've had a few of their blends now and I'm enjoying them quite a bit. This one was good but burned fast. I expected 90 to 120 min's with a Toro but was finished it in 60 or so min's.
Smoking the San Cristobal right now. It was a gift from my brother. He brought it back from the cigar festival in Cuba last Feb (2016) It's a tasty cigar. It's very mild and so far, rather sweet in a pleasant way. I'm hoping the rest is as good as the little I've smoked so far. I will say this though, as is often the case with Cuban's, this one is rolled a little tight for my taste. It's not unsmokable (as far too many are) but I have to pull harder than I like and due to the tightness, I don't get as much smoke as I'd like. Still, it's tasty!

How ya been?
I worked with a guy from Chattanooga a few months ago, bein' from Nova Scotia, I could barely understand this dude when he talked.:smiley36:
He has some great expressions like how he was telling me he was working with the State DEP banding pheasants and the birds "Were as dumb as a bag of hammers." LMFAO!:smiley36:
Haha. How you doin'!? I'd been looking for this place and finally found it the other day. First kid turns one in a couple of weeks. Working my rear off.
And it's you people we can't understand. Ya'll talk as clear as mud. :smiley2:
Also, to keep it relevant to the thread, I had a La Flor Dominicana 1994 today. Pretty tasty.
Enjoyed a Liga #9 tonight.

What can I say that hasn't already been said by me or others. If you haven't tried one, do so!
All while drinking a nice fresh cup of Timmie's and listening to John Hiatt "How Bad's the Coffee" (Irony maybe?!?! :smiley4:)

I got me one of those Ortegas that I'll be enjoying soon my own self.
This is birthday weekend for me and daydrunk. We fried chicken wings in the snow yesterday and I had a La Gloria Cubana NC and a Padron Lonnie natty. Today it's 50 and sunny and I've had a Liga L40 and a Cain Daytona. I honestly have been a naysayer of Cain in the past, but this one has been really good. I'll have to start yaysaying now I guess.

1964 exclusivo maduro. Perfect weather, I was in the mood for a smoke. Not near my stash- I dropped by the closest b&m looking to try a yamasa or an escurio. No davidoff. Shit. Ok. Padrón is good. CC has been exclusively exhausting exclusivos so I elect to embrace one exclusively.
P.S. pretty sure this was the first padrón I ever tried. 2005. My notes read something to the effect of "I don't fully understand it but I can tell it's a quality cigar." Padron never lets me down.
LOL! Yeah, they're pretty much all I've been smoking lately. :smiley4: Great cigars.:smiley20: As I mentioned earlier, I've always preferred the 1926s over the 1964 however the more I smoke these Exclusivos, the more I may be changing my mind. I smoked a couple of Imperials a few months back when my store was out of the Exclusivos. I didn't like them as much, and they didn't seem to smoke as well as the Exclusivos. I wish I could be more descriptive as to why but I've never been good at cigar reviews.:smiley6:
I've smoked a couple of Añejos (48s, a 49 and a 50 or two and a 55 only because it was all the shop had left!) in the past couple of months and ran across a couple of Opus X which are always a treat.
