I'd say value of 40th at MSRP is good because though it's hard to find, it's not out of production so to speak, and they're are plenty available at various B&M's around the country (at least NYC and Chicago area). They're also delicious. I think technically MSRP is like 29.99 or something, but still, fair value. I've loved them as much as my 80th anniversary maduros, I got those at 23/stick.

The box came back with the label mostly ripped off though conveniently with the return address mostly intact :smiley7: I'll run down to the PO today and get a new box and resend. I want to hang on to this one in case I need evidence to get a refund for the wasted shipping. Sorry for the delay y'all!
Todd
I put hefty insurance on it though some of the contents aren't really replaceable. I don't want to hold up the pass while the USPS figures out what they did wrong. I understand the cost of shipping with them is pretty low but, given the hassles I repeatedly bump into when using their services, so are my expectations. No offense to any members :smiley2:
PS: The contents are fine. Just the shipping label got fucked up.

I guess you're saying that that doesn't work...I wonder why? I don't usually do insurance on shipping stuff, but like bear was saying, some of the stuff in there is just irreplaceable. I was more preparing for the scenario that the box & contents were damaged.
George, if you're telling me no matter what I'd be SOL with insurance on cigars, I won't bother anymore.
Will
I thought about that...after the fact. Having not filed a claim through the USPS, I wasn't sure if I'd have to produce the damaged contents. I figure shame on me for not thinking about the prohibited contents but I s'pose it's a donation to the beleaguered postal service :smiley36: As long as the box doesn't come back again I'm fine with it!

I got the package in today, and they all looked fine.
I have to say that on Friday my wife lost her ATM card, and now we have about $5.00 left in the account. I am going to have to spend some time on the phone to dispute these charges.
How about I just send the cigars out to the next person in line so I don't hold anyone up.
Sorry guys.
Keith
That fucking sucks Keith! Good luck with the disputes :smiley5:
Not a problem for me. Sorry to hear about the charges , good luck getting them cancelled. Hope the bust the person.
I got in this kinda late so I am not counting my opinion too high but I think a few days is not a problem at all man.
Sorry everyone, been on the road for the last 5 days and had no internet. I don't have a problem with this.
I hope you where able to get everything taken care of.
Lopaka
Sorry for the delay, and thank you to everyone for the understanding.
We were able to recoupe most of all the charges, but there is one rather large one still in dispute, but we have a good lead on who it might have been.
Now, as to not waste any more time, these are my proposed takes/puts
take 5 vegas Miami / put Cain 654T torpedo
take Cuesta rey #9 / put CAO the Sopranos Associate.
Thank you again for everyone's patience, and if there aren't any against these puts, I will send them out tomorrow afternoon.
Keith
And I'm ready to receive.
It seems to be getting there, but I do still have one that is in dispute. I already PMed Rich that I would be sending the package out first thing Monday morning.
Sorry to all for the delay, and thank you for all the understanding.
This right here is the reason I am still with this community...not just for the trades, but because every one here is like an extended family, I got so many understanding replies, that I feel right at home and very comfortable here.
Thanks all.
Keith

Package arrived safe. I will post my trades later.
This has become quite a project for me. There are 7 cigars in here that are "with all the trimmings." possibly 8. I'm going to need another day. :smiley36:
1. Take - Opus X Perfection X / Put - GOF Don Carlos 2006 robusto tubed.
2. Take - Graycliff Chateau Grand Cru Presidente / Put - Ashton ESG 21 year(Torpedo)
3. Take - Griffins XXI (2005 LE) / Put - LFD Factory Press II (this was the tough one for me to decide on, I'm not sure how to value the 5 years on the Griffins.)
If these are go for launch, I can get the pass in the mail tomorrow. Or maybe I should wait until Tuesday, so they aren't sitting in at USPS for an extra day.
Nate, are you at the same address you were last year?
Very cool. I'll get these in the air on Tuesday.
PM me if your address is the same Nate. Or if someone else has his address, to confirm what I have, that would work also.
On its way, Nate.

Package received yesterday. I'll take a look and post some p&t tonight.
So I got stuck doing tons of ridiculous stuff today and ran out of time to look at things and here I am trying to decide what I want to do and my brain is just numb. I will have to sleep on it and get back to it tomorrow.
Ok - after Nate comes Lopaka. Where's Rob been anyway??? Speak up, Mr. Air Force dude, or forever hold your peace!!!
I would like to add in Dr. Cox and Paddy to the pass - if they're up for it. Anyone have any reservations?
I'm also looking for others that may be interested in jumping in. Any takers?
