Jamie, the trade is fine. I'll update the list.
Eville, your box dropped today.

So, you may notice one name missing (or you may not...anyway). Here's the deal. I'm taking my name out of the draft. Once everyone has drafted their 5 sticks, the 5 remaining are mine. This way no one will be stuck with the last pick, and no one will have to sit there going "oh man, no one wanted my put."
So, everybody get your list together! If you don't feel like you're going to be around much to participate, get a copy to somebody else se we can keep things going.
Thanks for hosting, swizzlenuts!
Will
:smiley7: Don't think I didn't notice the color used for me in the first post Aaron...
It's a good thing I am secure enough in my manhood to carry a murse and sport some pink.
It'll be fun to watch Will make all the picks for everyone again this year.
Oh man number 2?! I don't even know what half of these smokes are, how am I going to do this?
Yes to both of you!:smiley20::smiley36:
You're running it, so it's ultimately your call, but I think you're missing out on all of the fun unnecessarily. The snaking order eliminates some of the harshness of the last pick -- and the puts this time look pretty damn good. We're all big boys -- if our sticks linger, they linger -- I'd rather see you partake in the draft. Just my $0.02 -- hell, it ain't even worth that.
Jamie's cigars arrived yesterday so we're all set!
On a side note, for quality control purposes I smoked one cigar from each package upon arrival and one person sent some pretty dry sticks. Unfortunately I can't remember who it was so it looks like over the course of the weekend I'll be forced to smoke one more from each package to find the culprit. I'll have the slightly modified list up by Monday morning.
Thank you for your patience.
Sounds good. I'll just go ahead and set fire to your remaining four submissions.
And to be on the safe side I'll go ahead and smoke one more from each package as well. Now that I think of it, everybody better just send out five more sticks so we can run a proper draft.
That's it. I'm running the next draft - in a modified heftysmokes fashion*.
Anyone that may be interested, please submit** 5 smokes for consideration & a bottle of single-malt scotch***.
*Draft to be announced at a later time, but very likely, not at all. Not all who enter will get to play. mrtr33 most certainly takes bribes but isn't cheap. Chances are, if there's a US president on the currency you hand me, it's not enough.
**Delivering smokes in person may win you more points, but it could also disqualify you immediately. I will smoke your cigars in front of you for a hefty fee.
***Vintage port also accepted, but I don't drink any ports younger than I am. Considering my age (look in my profile), that could set you back a few bucks.
Let's get it started.
17. Vegas Robaina Clasicos
42. 2006 Don Carlos GOF Robusto Tubo
Paddy's workin'
#5 Davidoff Puro Dominicana Belicoso

60. Casa Fuente Beli-- heftysmokes
Jamie's drunk again.
56. Montecristo #2 ENE 10

53. Liga Privada T52 ~ Flying Pig

I'd like to pick:
30. Paul Garmirian Gourmet Series Churchill
Thanks,
Will
18. Bolivar Belicosos Finos (cab) - Apr 07---Craig
I'm an idiot...
My picks - there are so many that sound interesting!
26. Tatuaje Anarchy - Paddy
50. Opus Perfexcion X - EGQ
Hmm. EGQ, did you realize that you and I have pretty much opposite tastes in cigars give the current Mega-review results? :smiley36: If you didn't like Carolyn/Dawn, then I'm not sure how you will like this one ... :smiley16:
Also, as with much production from that time, construction has not been consistent and the cigar may be overfilled/plugged. I tried to pick a good one, but if that cigar proves to be overfilled/plugged, then please PM me and I'll send you another from that box, or something else if that box has been smoked by then - I'm smoking these pretty regularly now :smiley9: - given the other VR's that I've smoked from the same year previously, I think that this box is just past the cigar's peak.
Rich, Buzz: I haven't smoked either of those Boli's in quite a while, but I'm willing to bet that they'll be better next year, i.e., five years from box date.
I'm looking forward to firing it up, it will be difficult to hold off but I'll do my best.
I've been a huge fan of aged Boli's ever since this: http://www.cigarsmokers.com/threads/...541#post151541
And so, my pick is the 20. Bolivar Short Bolivar RE Asia-Pacifico
:smiley20:
10. Graycliff Chateau Grand Cru Pirate Piramide #2
Thanks,
Will
