Hello everyone I sighned up here I think back in September hoping to learn a little bit about my hobby that I have loved for so long. Smoking cigars has been my main source of therapy ever since I returned from Iraq a few months back. I use these boards as a way to get way from the stress of everyday life and along the way have made some pretty good friends. I have not really chimed in to often on this board becuase personnally I feel like I am walking on eggshells and do not wish to cause myself any uneeded stress. I have bit my lip because I sure do not want to make enemies. I just want to throw in my 2 cents and take it for what it is worth and as not directed at anybody. First I think a major problem with this board is your politics thread. Politics are going to cause problems anywhere you go. In this case I feel that it has not only taken away from the vast amount of knowledge established members contribute, but I can't help but feel that this may be driving people like myself away for silly reasons. Some of you may know me from my other board where I love to hang out and have never felt the animosity I have felt here. To be truthful the only reason I visit this site anymore is to see who is going to be banned this week and that is wrong! This site has some great people that have some great insight. I do not really know to much about the ignore feature but maybe that could be utilized more who knows. There is no need to call for a lynching mob every time an established member gets offended. Another suggestion would be a word filter to filter out the smut that many people post in order to either attack or counter attack against another member. Everyone here is an adult and trashy language is no way to get your point across whether you are a doctor, lawyer, or do not have a job. I accept criticism so criticize away :smiley14: Ayways if I have offended anyone I am sorry. And by the way Bigpoppapuff I am going to be home in Buffalo for military leave starting the seventh of december where abouts in Buffalo are you?

Wow this is the most impressive post I have read on these boards to this date. First...with no false flattery I thank you for your sacrifice for my freedom and for our nations security. With that said...I think you feel much like many good people who come here. Until you have at least 400 posts you cant speak your mind without offending someone. I agree that there should be a consistant flaming policy for ALL board members. There shouldnt be a double standard based on post count. I realize there are ignorant posters who should be banned...but it should be a rare occasion rather than a standard. This is the anti-newbie vibe that I sensed when I arrived. Please post here more often and speak your mind...myself and many other who have supported me with numerous PM's will also back you. I prefer this to be a respectful community...respectful to new and old. No one should be allowed to flame or everyone should be allowed to flame. I prefer the first. There are MANY good guys here just waiting to be themselves without fear. If I get banned for my open speech then so be it. Im just glad to see someone besides myself speak their mind. And to think some here wanted to nullify your vote based on post count. This to me is absurd and ignorant. I will pray for your safety. WHEN you return home safely please allow us as a community to celebrate with you.

SO thats ur problem with me....a post whore? The fact is Amanda and Tony were never accepted...period. You will continue to try to get me banned...thats ok. But what I know is that MANY here hate what you and CC are doing...what you have made this board to be. Nothing like a coupla new people walking into your favorite watering hole saying "Geez - I don't like the way you guys talk in here - you guys cuss too much - you're not very friendly to new people. I think the bunch of you should learn to live with us new guys moving in. Me and my new pals here are going to make sure this place is nice for everyone else who comes in." You point out the little bit you see as being bad, and blame it on the "2,000 post members" who drive the good people away. However, neither of you realize the place is already nice. How arrogant and ignorant...

There are cigar boards set up for both of you where you don't have to worry about the "stress" of fighting on the board. Maybe you should check that place out and leave this one to the people who truly enjoy it...

2. Amanda was liked here till the incident that got her banned.
3. Tonydogs just came here to cause trouble.
4. I havnt made this board into anything, Alot of people here - expecially the ones that have been around for a while- do not like me because of some things that I have said. I dont have a problem with that, we still all get along fine most of the time because we are all adult enough to not bring it up in every conversation.
