CAO Gold Corona
Had an AWESOME Hemingway Classic tonight. I was at the bar and DROPPED it (yeah I know I'm and idiot) and the wrapper cracked. Even through all that, this cigar was great!

PAM principe
this is the second of these that have given me draw problems. anyone else ever had this problem with these? it wasn't so bad that i'd throw out a pam, but it was a little annoying.
I took some advise on inexpensive smokes from this board. I believe it was George who wrote that Sancho Panza was a good line of value cigars so I bought a sampler around Christmas. I smoked the Caballero last night. Wow, this was the best 2-3 dollar smoke I have ever had- extremely tasty and full of flavor. I would pay double the asking price for these...
Today's smokes is as follows:
Diamond Crown #6
Upmann Super Corona from 2000
Punch Ninfas from 2002
This week I smoked:
Sunday: AVO Maduro Pyrimides (Very Delicious!)
Monday: 5 Vegas Double Corona
Tuesday: -
Wednesday: 5 Vegas Double Corona
Thursday: 5 Vegas Double Corona (It's my morning smoke usually)
Friday (Today): Black Pearl Rojo (Another good morning smoke) and CAO Black (on the way home)
Saturday (Tomorrow): Plan to smoke a Gurkha Legend Aniversario
Today CAO CX2
Been meaning to try one of those. How is the CX2?Quote:

I had the Padron '26 #35 this afternoon (my first cigar in about a week - too dang busy to get one in otherwise...). For the '26 fan - these are an awesome smoke, just too dang short... I guess te "35" is to signify it takes 35 minutes to smoke 'em. That seems about true!!!
If you want a great smoke, and only have about 30 minutes - these babies are fantastic!!!
Smoked the first VSG Illusion out of my box.
Padron 1964 Maduro Diplomatico VERY YUMMY!

Camel Light 100'. Damn good smoke for 17 cents and 4 1/2 minutes. Although this was a short filler, the draw and burn were nearly flawless. The ash was a nice light gray and voluntarily flicked off at will. The slight taste of rat poisoning was offset by the wonderful aroma of a school lunch room. I would like to find a carton of these babies. Anyone up for a carton-split?:smiley13:
When was the last time you tasted rat poison? :smiley36:Quote:

Had a great night with the boys - found a couple of NEW cigar smokes to spoil (they were smoking that gas station crap and I had to save them..)
Josh was gifted a Monte #2 ISOM and an Opus X Petit Lancero (he smoked both to compare and contrast - he won't ever go back!!!)
Charlie was gifted a VR Famosos ISOM and an Opus X Perfecxion #5 (same with Charlie - he was in heaven as well!!)
Me? I smoked a fake ISOM Cohiba Esplendido (don't ask - long story - was given a "mission" to try it. :smiley11: ) then cleared my palate with an ISOM Monte #1 Especiale and finished up with a Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserve....
Mixed that with a couple of Blue Moon's, and a snifter of Patron Anejo!!! Great evening!!! :smiley20:

Romeo & Julieta Anniversario. Very nice medium smoke. Enjoyed it while listening to the Pink Floyd tribute band Think Floyd.
Last night a Fonseca KDT Kadet, good reliable smoke as always. Last Saturday morning an H Upman (NC) Churchill which was nice and mild, perfect for the start of the day and a longish walk with the wife and dogs.
Last night, I tried a Royal Jamaica gold (belicoso) for the first time. This would be an excellent cigar to have with an espresso. I do not think this will become part of my rotation though- a tad too bitter throughout for my taste.
Montecristo No 2 the torpedo it was a medium body cigar that was tasty. It had a great draw and great after taste. it became a little harsh at the end but I thought it was great.:smiley14:
CAO Criollo Bomba.
Cordova Republic Rum Cigarillo. Takes the stress off from finals.
Cuesta Rey Sun Grown

I'm starting to like these more than Quintero Brevas.:smiley20:
Last night, a Cuesta Ray #9 natural. Good to the last puff. I love the sungrown and cameroon Cuesta's, but the natural was very smokable. Smooth and robust at the same time and it went well with the hot green tea.
RASS last night.
Cohiba Robusto :smiley37:
Carlos Torano Virtuoso
Celebrating the arrival of my new nephew tonight with a Drambuie cordial coupled with a nice Fuente Anejo Reserva Xtro Viejo. It does not get much better than this:smiley2:
