Habana Gold
Just FYI - the Habana Gold is a Mexican cigar. My wife's coworker was in Mexico on vactiion recently and brought this back for me. It wasn't very well rolled, it burned too fast for it's size, and it was very mild. But hey, it did come in a cool glass tube! LOL
Rustico Habano - from the QSH goodie bag. Smokes nice enough that I went searching for them. Based on the band/CoO/website, it does not appear to be from "Rustico Cigars." Only online source appears to be Atlantic Cigar (Atlantic ships to Canada 'nicely' LOL). According to Atlantic, Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, DR Habano binder, DR/Nic filler. Made in DR. Seems to be entubar from the ash, excellent construction, Princess Leia cap (a.k.a. cinamin bun cap), wrapper folded-over the foot. Smooth medium-body with some sweetness, strength increases in last third, clean refreshing aftertaste. I'm glad that I won a bundle at QSH (a "refill" according to Atlantic, box is a few dollars more than the bundle). To me, a good sub-$5 cigar.
Old Henry Robusto.
Haven't had one of these for a few weeks at least. Really enjoy these smokes. :smiley20:
Partagas Chicos - tasty little machine-made cigar, a pleasant surprise. May have to get more of these.
Ashton VSG - my first. Very nice and very complex, but the rest of the box needs to sit for at least a year or so, as thee one I had had a bit too much bite for me.
Sofar:
EO 601 Habana Red Label ~ Torp (very nice)
Padron Maduro ~ londres (also, very nice)
