Everything looks good, Wimbel is in fine shape and the cigars are as well.
Thanks craig, much appreciated.
I'll try to get the p/t's and photo's taken over the weekend and move the pass to Cody44 the first of next week.
Wow great! Home stretch!!!:smiley20:
Okey dokey, here are my proposed p/t's:
T = San Cristobal de la Habano Mercadores - Dec 05 --P= Padron 1926 40yr natural
T = Cohiba Lancero / P = LG diez small batch #3
I also pulled one of the La Sirena sticks. Wimbel will make his appearance soon.
Alright, here is Wimbel meeting my regular herf buddies. They seemed to get along fine! :smiley20:

Wimbel decided that some investigation of the tobacco patch was in order. He's checking out some Vuelta Abajo here:

And here he is hiding behind some Frog Eye Orinoco:

Wimbel said he had a nice conversation with the tobacco. He made his best effort to feel sympathy for them as they bitched about the horrendous wind, hail storms, and torrential rain they had endured. He tried, but it was tough, considering the path he himself had been on recently. :smiley18:
Here he is checking out the crap in the cigar room. Of course, he praised the reading on my cooler monitor. That reminds me, I should probably look through the damn thing, it's been a few months.

Nope, that's just Stan. He did say something about non-reciprocal butt-sniffing being kinda odd. He liked the squirrel though. :smiley2:
Got Cody's address. Let me know if my p/t's are acceptable and I'll fly the package in the morning.
You're welcome. Please enjoy.
Given your take, please let me know if you want the SCdlH Merc vBN (eventually, when the box is emptied :-).
Nice looking Abajo. (I don't know what the other one is supposed to look like.)
Got a slip at my door, looks like the little guy should be unboxed tomorrow. Pictures to come this week as well as puts and takes.
Well, I just unboxed him here at my place and it looks like the post office treated him very poorly. His nose and mouth are smashed out completely. I'll do my best to repair him up again though before I take pictures.
(I'll post pictures of the damage they did to him first thing tomorrow.)
Aww poor fellow.
Dammit. I even added more bubble wrap. Thought I had it packaged up pretty well.....my apologies.
Its not you:) Poor Wimbel. I never realized how bitter he is(the material, not his attitude)
:)
Still waiting for those pics of the damage. Would love to see poor Wimbel.
Roham
Alright, sorry about the delay. I wanted to post all the pictures at the same time, but here is the picture of him after unwrapping him.

The pieces of him were stuck down in his belly, but I was able to get everything out. The cigars are fine, and looking good. Thanks again to Badwhale for the La Sirena! I can't wait to enjoy it.
Here is my proposed puts/takes
Take --
LG diez small batch #3

Look at him! Wimbel is speechless!:smiley5:
(ba-da-bump-crash)
Wimbel really has taken a beating during this trip. I don't think he'll ever leave the back yard again!
Wimbel Dazlwobble and I spent some time together today. After a week of rain in the Eugene valley, we finally got a sunny day. Wimbel and I decided it would be best spent running up Skinner's Butte. Wimbel was interested in seeing the city from above, and since the town was built between two buttes we had the perfect view.

After taking the first picture the clouds overhead covered the sun and the valley was darkened.

From this view, we could also see Spencer's Butte on the other side of Eugene.

Wimbel also thought it would be a good idea to check out the home of the Oregon Ducks, so we drove over to Autzen Stadium. He told me he wants to come back during football season to see the Ducks' speedy offense.

More to come during day 2. Wimbel was a little tired from his facial reconstruction surgery...
Awesome pictures cody, love the city! Glad Wimbel had access to the best plastic surgeon in Eugene! No pun intended!!
As soon as Cody is done posting his photos I will start a new poll thread where we will choose the winner of the photo contest. So guys, when you have a chance email me your favorite photo so we can slowly finish this up:smiley20:
I'm done posting pictures, the other ones I took didn't turn out. Thanks again for letting me hang out with Wimbel!
Hey guys, I found a picture of Wimbel in his younger days. It seems he was quite the stud.
