Ashton ESG 22 Year Salute (New.. Torpedo)
WOW!! I am not a Fuente fan, but this is an incredible cigar. A much better showing than the first two ESG - 20, 21 Year Salut. Very, very nice....:smiley41:
Not a Fuente Fan??:smiley5:
Had an Ashton VSG Enchantment last night, seemed kinda mild for a VSG.
Well... probably gonna take a beating for this one, but smoked an Acid Krush Classic Maduro. It was a small cigar wit a purple ring. I have saw alot of times this is a crap cigar brand, but I must say I liked it. Nice taste which goes along way with me at work since I pretty much keep the cigar in my mouth the whole time I'm smoking it.
Am I a bad person.....:smiley6:
BigWhiteAsh-
As I said.......on Fuentes I am not a fan. IMO they are more concerned about production numbers and not on flavor.
As for the VSG......you may have had an older box production. The VSG's where a bit flat up until 6 or 7 months ago. All new product I have been receiving looks and tastes much better. I am comparing to VSG's of a 1-1 1/2 ago. Todays wrapper color is much richer and flavor does pop.
Dependig on your tastes - it might be worth a revisit.
Over the weekend...
601 Blue at the B&M while watching the SEC Championship.
J.F.R. Corojo
Spanish Galleon robusto
J&R Cazadores (good cigar)
Ramon Allones Specially Selected (my first Ramon Allones, what a great cigar)
Had a Camacho Triple Maduro Torpedo last night,
Pepin Black label Perla this morning :smiley41:
Last Night: Ashton ESG 21yr
Just finished: Victor Sinclair 10th Aniversario Robusto
I noticed this. I bought a few VSG's from a B&M that had a lighter colored wrapper then the ones I recently purchased on cigarbid. The newer ones have a much darker wrapper and they seemed to have a more complex and rich flavor.Quote:
