i smoked a black and mild with one of my friends last night. :smiley40:
My first A Fuente Hemmingway Classic (Cheers NH):smiley41: .
After work, I was working in the garage and had one of these:
http://www.voilacigars.com/productca...idProduct=1698
Anyone know what they are?? It was actually a pretty decent smoke for the price.
Smoked a flor de oliva corojo churchill while cooking dinner and am about to spark up a Bolivar churchill 05'
Had a couple Avo maduros Tuesday, yesterday I had an '04 PLPC that was awesome. Sitting outside on the patio with my wife, the kids playing in the yard. Great day peaked with a great cigar.
This week I smoked more cigars than I normally do. I have a feeling that I will be smoking a lot this summer! Anyway, the list:
5 Vegas "A" Artisan
VSG Robusto - Excellent! (Thanks Paul)
5 Vegas Double Corona
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Toro - Smooth! (Thanks James)
Oliva "O" Bold Omni - One of my favorites
Edge X-Out (??) - (Thanks Aaron)
Pueblo Dominicano Torpedo - Now I know what the "blo" means! OK, but not worth more than $3.00 IMO
AF Double Chateau - Milder than I expected, but still tasty (Thanks Paul)
Short Story:smiley41:
Sunday - Gurkha Master Select robusto
Monday - Sherpa Mystic
Monday: PAM 64 Principe
Gispert Lonsdale.
Awesome looking construction, very mild, draw just a touch tight, not much smoke 'till halfway but very nice mild flavors. Make this smoke medium strength and more smoke and you got a winner.
Over the last week or so (no particular order):
Hemingway Best Seller
SCdlH Principe
Punch Royal Selection #12
Fonseca KDT Cadete
HdM Epicure #2
Wednesday - Baccarat rothschild while mowing the yard.
Cohiba sig IV yesterday. Not bad, but I expected more.
Over the past week
Punch Punch :smiley20:
Puros Indios Viejo 98 Limited Edition :smiley21:
Bolivar Corona :smiley20:
Saint Luis Rey Reserva Especial Rothschilde :smiley20:
Quorum (Nicaragua) 6" Toro :smiley21:
Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino Sungrown Belicoso No. 11 :smiley20:
punch while at the park
i had a Cx2 robusto today
Well, after not having a cigar for many days, I broke down and decided to smoke something good. A Hemi Classic Maddie and the sweetness from the leaves is standing out loud and clear. I may just smoke the Anejo #49 I have to cap off this fine evening and save the Opus X Perfecxion X for tomorrow. :smiley37:
Torano 1959 Perfecto after dinner. My favorite smoke at the moment. Interesting ash tonight though - kept on burning uneven, to the point that areas of the wrapper that had burned to ash curled under the uneven areas making it look like a perpetual "wave" until it corrected itself.
Cielo robusto to start off the day.
AF Chateau Fuente Sungrown after lunch.
Another bolivar corona last night - gotta get some more!! mmmmmm.........
My first Bolivar!! Robusto with a dark wrapper. (Maduro maybe??)
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, nice smoke. Strong and heavy for a Noob, but still very pleasureable. Washed it down with several cups of Cuban coffee so I'm floating now!!
sancho beli ISOM
Piedra cazadore ISOM
This week I smoked:
Padron 1964 Principe - (Thanks Eric!)
5 Vegas Double Corona
Black Pearl Rojo Toro - Plugged; First time that has happened.
Oliva "O" Bold Omni - Damn thing split on me (due to an old care-related problem) I still smoked it right through the split (I am stubborn sometimes)
Padron 2000 - Tasted better than usual.
Trilogy Corojo Torpedo
Peterson Gran Reserva Robusto - Not bad; had that distinct Arturo Fuente-like floral/honey/cedar flavor. I know...it's made by Peterson Pipe company at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras and distributed by Ashton; however..... Maybe it is the Cameroon wrapper I am tasting.

King B - nice smoke.
Yesterday
A new one for me - RyJ Reserve Maduro toro. really enjoyed it.
Today
Another new one - Juan Lopez (Nic.) Epicure No. 2. I thought it was a little grassy, but the finish was enough to make me want a few more in the humidor. Under $5. Afterward, I read where these are puros made from Oliva tobacco company. Definitely worth trying if you haven't yet.

I like the Juan Lopez's,but they are rough around the edges and need some time.Bobalouie couldnt smoke the one I gave him,he said he tried.I didn't know they were made from Oliva, definately does not taste like it.
Smoked a few Camacho Corojo Machito's today due to rain and working outsideish...they were 10minute smokes,15 at best but very tastey and strong.
