A Gurkha Legend after lunch
A 5Vegas Series "A" Archetype mid-afternoon
Tried an RP Vintage '92 after dinner that was badly plugged. Cut the cigar in half and salvaged some of it.
Late evening, due to only getting half an after dinner smoke, I had a PAM Principe that more than made up for the plugged cigar earlier.
went down to a fairly old B&M in downtown Boston - LJ Peretti's (apparently been around since 1870) -- had never been in, but had the chance to stop in and chat with a few folks that were around. very cool place, nice people, not all that big but tons of stuff.
anyways, picked up a few cigars to try and had one out in the park when i left -- La Aurora Preferidos Cameroon Robusto
not bad at all.
Finally had a smoke - after a week... (Got by the shop, DesertRat :smiley20: )

RATE THIS THREAD!!
If you'll notice, this thread has to be by far, the most popular thread on the site but it only has a four out of five star rating due to the fact that shitbag Scotty gave it a one out of five only due to the fact that it was me that started it!:smiley36: He has since been banned (gee, what a shocker :smiley3: ).
Let's see if we can get it to a five out of five rating. Vote if you have not already!
I am sitting outside right now smoking a Fuente Short Story and watching the fish in my pond. It is a little chilly this evening but the cigar makes up for it!!:smiley41:
I just finished one of my last Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserves. I hope they re-release these again. These never get old. :smiley20:
la gloria cubana- made me a little light headed- woohoo for noobs
Been in a little smoking slump...Broke it today with a King B. A few months at 65% really helps them out.:smiley20:

Last night had on Onyx Reserve Toro with four of my buddies while throwing darts in the garage of my BRAND NEW HOUSE!
Woohoo! After a long day of moving, it was a nice relaxing evening.
An AVO XO Intermizzo while watching my two-hand-touch football team loose our last game of the season, from the sidelines. I was watching from the sidelines b/c my mom was in town and we were supposed to be in Annaplois, but a change of plans left me with out the neccesary Under-Armour needed to "protect this house". Team played pretty well though.
Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote
La Floridita came in a bundle with oher nicer smokes.
Nicaraguan. don't get the the same kick as the Flor de Nicaragua. Not much of taste except some spice. Probably will not go for this one again
First, I smoked a Rocky Patel Sun Grown Robusto. (Quite powerful for an early afternoon smoke on an empty stomach!! Well, live and learn I guess.)
Before dinner I had a Ramon Allones Gustoso. Very nice smoke, but I can see why they put the cedar sleeve on it!!
I just finished a CAO Gold Churchill. That was a very nice and enjoyable cigar.
Por Larranaga PC while BBQ'ing and doing some light planting.:smiley20:
Not having my fill, I then capped off a huge and hearty dinner with a JDN Antano belicoso.:smiley20:

Cuesta-Ray Centenario Centro Fino Belicoso
A little on the mild side for my tastes. Needs more spice and less of a nutty flavor.
Yesterday,
Torano Exodus 1959 Silver torpedo. wrapper flaked off at the halfway point and ruined an otherwise good cigar :smiley6:
Padron series 1926 #9 maddie, excellent as always.
Just laid down my first Siglo IV with my burnt hand. What an awesome smoke!
RyJ ISOM Coronas. Either my taste buds are asleep today or this one needs more aging:smiley6:

Friday afternoon - AVO XO Intermezzo
Saterday Afternoon - AF Hemmingway Short Story
Both Excellent
punch champion, uneven burn, but still fun- my first torpedo type!
On advice of another board member I just tried a Davidoff. This was in lieu of a Partigas 150 for which I would have had to purchase an entire box at $1000. Saved a boatload of money. The one I smoked was a Davidoff No. 2 (approx. 18 RG – 6”). Cost was $15.29. Tasty and very smooth right down to the end. I was tempted to put a clip on it and smoke it down to nothing but I was sitting out on my driveway under a portico and didn’t want to give the neighbors the wrong impression.
The weather here is horrible right now. Heavy rain and flooding. Perfect weather for kicking back and enjoying a good smoke. My job was rained out today so I just sat back, watched it rain, and burned a quality stick.
While I was at the smoke shop the proprietor recommended two less expensive cigars; a “Private Stock” and a “Zino” both around $3 each. He said these were also made by Davidoff.
To the board member that recommended the Davidoff-you just saved me $1000 so I feel obligated to split these savings with you. If you could just send me your name, address, phone #, name of bank, account#, SS# and mothers maiden name, I will gladly send these savings to you. LOL.
Seriously, thanks for the recommendation. If this bad weather keeps up I’ll be able to let you know how the other two smoke.
