Smoke: ??? ~ Churchill
Drink: Yuengling Bock Beer
Tunes: Scissor Sisters
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Draw: Medium
Burn: Good
Misc: 90+ minutes
Pre-light: 7x48ish Medium to dark brown wrapper. Nice construction. Triple cap. Somewhat veiny wrapper but not too much. Rich tobacco scent. No prelight flavor.

Light: Easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Woodsy & oily. Has a medium sweet ring to it. Medium body, medium flavor. A slight bitter twinge to it that ends in a slight spice note. Lots of subtleties, or my imagination has run wild.

Ash: Medium to light gray. Wavy layers. Holds on for 1 ½”
http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/r...Picture003.jpg
2nd 3rd: Oily. Sweetish and a little bitter bit at the end. Still a medium body / flavor. Smoooooooottthhhh and mellow.
http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/r...Picture004.jpg
3rd 3rd: More woodsy now with the oily. Sweetness has died out a bit, but still there. Still very mellow and enjoyable.

Overall impression: Man, off the bat I was thinking Honduran, but then with the slight bitter twinge, I was thinking Dominican, but in the end, I have to guess NICARAGUAN!!!!!! Bring the sig tag what may, but this was a nice smoke to break up my Lenten ordeal.
Thank you dr. cox for this delicious unbanded puro.
Will
Here's my puts:

LFD Double Ligero ~ Chiseleto
Illusione CG4

Will
Wow three winners in a row. Thats pretty impressive. You just enjoyed a Perdomo Lot 23, a Nicaraguan puro.
Congratulations!
:smiley20: Sweet. I was thinking Padilla Miami or 1932 / something Pepin.
Thanks again bro!
Will
Nope I don't think I have ever had any of those so I cant compare to the Lot 23, I just know I enjoyed it and thats good enough for me.
Ok guys, you can stop thinning the pot now. I should have room for the rest of em.
Congrats Will!
Nice job Will.
Winning sig tag has been sent. Congratulations, badwhale! Thanks for posting your puts. We've now tied the number of last year's winners!
TheRichLife, you ready?
Still time to get in on this! No minimum post count required! Read the rules in the first post of this thread, make an announcement here, and shoot me a PM with your address!
I'll post the sig tag tonight when I get home. Images are blocked here at work.
I'll mail the next leg of the pass as soon as we hear from therichlife.
Thanks!
Will
I'm looking forward to it! However, I must admit I'm a bit intimidated by how many winners we've had.
I received the package today. Everything looks great. :smiley20:
I won't have time to smoke the puro this evening, but I'll definitely get to it tomorrow evening and post my review/guess.
Thanks,
Chuck
Smoke: Naked Puro of Unknown Origin
Drink: Boulevard Pale Ale
Pre-lighting: The cigar was a Corona size 5.5" x 42 or 44 (I didn't have anything to accurately measure the ring). The construction was nice. It had a darker brown wrapper with fairly heavy veins and had a Cuban-style triple cap on it. The fairly prominent veins in the wrapper, along with the thickness, lead me to assume it was sun grown. The cigar felt full, even and had a mild aroma.
1st 1/3: It lit easily, but the draw was a bit hard. It burned very evenly and cool. The ash got to about 1.5" before I lost it in the Kansas breeze. The ash looked good with a nice off-white color to it. The flavor was a medium body with hints of spice and leather. It had a creamy flavor, and no harshness at all.
2nd 1/3: The spice and leather flavor became more pronounced, but still no harshness at all. The burn continued to be perfect, it didn't get hot, and it showed no flaws in the construction.
Last 1/3: The cigar stayed nice all the way to knuckle burning.
Overall Thoughts: I really enjoyed this cigar. It's a nice medium bodied smoke. I'm looking forward to finding out what it is so I can buy some.
My Guess: The flavors, coupled with the sun-grown characteristics leads me to guess Honduran.
Thanks for letting me participate! :smiley20:
The naked puro was a Tatuaje Havana VI ~ Hermosos....another Nicaraguan Puro:smiley3:
I'm glad you enjoyed that smoke. I love those.
Will
Bring on the loser tag. :smiley18:
I'm definitely ready! Bring on the puro :smiley37:
Todd
Well, it was a good try...liked the way you really layed it out.
Keith
Testing for the new sig tag. How am I looking today?
Edited to add:
I have Todd's address. The package will go out later today with the three previous puts, one nekkid puro, and my puts, which are: Oliva Series O Torp, Man 'O War Toro, Trinidad Robusto. I haven't checked the prices on those, but I'm guessing they meet the standard. If not, please let me know and I'll make the necessary changes.
Thanks,
Chuck
PS
I'm not seeing the sig tag. I'll have to try adding it again. (She's hot.)
There she(?) is! :smiley36:
This is so much fun. Those puts look good to me. Cigarbear says he's good to go. Fire when ready, and let us know DC#.
Thanks again for playing!
Holy hell!!!!! :smiley3::smiley3:

Wow is right. I'm kinda wishing I "accidently" left the band on that tat:smiley3:
You could have at least given me a little hint and just told me where the binder was grown. :smiley2:
I just threw in a bid for a box of the Almirantes (7 x 47 size) on the devil site.
Thats scary. Please make it go away :smiley11:
Eeeewww..
Imagine having sex with a bag of sledgehammers and barb-wire! :smiley18:
Wow man, I finally got to see that....wish I didn't, I think I might have to put my leather guy back on, he doesn't look nearly as scary as your sig tag :smiley36:
Keith
Hey it's Favio on hormones.:smiley11:
