Apo
It was an APO addy.
It just has to get through our system. Joe, I know it's fustrating, believe me. I'm checking my box everyday and when I get a notification that I got a parcel I run up hoping it will be the box. Two days ago, I got something that my wife ordered from Amazon. Thank God she wasn't with me when I said that woman orders to much crap from them! :smiley36:
I want it to get here so I can get it out to the next person.
I checked today. Nothing. I'll keep you all posted.
Lopaka
Mr. Postman is failing me now...:smiley7:
Lopaka
If you don't get the package within a day or two. I may have to be shuffled to the bottom of the deck. I'm leaving for Ireland in August to see my family, then straight to our home in Mexico for two months. I won't return to the USA untill the 7th of November.
Update...Nada. Checking tomorrow.
Lopaka
Today...nada.
I'm really beginning to hate Mr postman!
What a colossal kick in the crotch...
I hated him 2 weeks ago. I am really sorry about this guys. George if there is anything I can do to get this straightened out let me know man.
Quick update...
I'm on the road and in classes. I left 3 days ago. My mail is being put on hold and I'll be back to Germany the second week of August.
Hopefully, MR POSTMAN will finally deliver.
Lopaka
I talked to GG while I was in the states about this and said that I'll restart it with Prophetic_joe if it hasn't arrived when I got back to Germany.
Sadly, it hasn't arrived and I'm not holding my breath. Prophetic_joe send me a PM and we'll get this started again. Sorry that it hasn't arrived so we could continue from Germany, however, I've lost faith in Mr. Postman to deliver this and this is gone to long.

The potato has landed -- I'll try to post my proposed picks tonight.
A few twists and turns here -- let me try to lay out what I think is in the pass, and I'll raise a question for p_j. Clafications noted in red.
Cohiba Siglo IV ’08 (ISOM) x3 [$11.48+]
Montecristo IV ’08 (ISOM) [$5.74+]
CAO Italia Box Press x2 [$5.91]

Alright, the bracketed numbers are reference values for my own calculations -- I would give the ISOMs a marginal bump since they have 2 yrs of age on them, and I would bump the Opus' because of their rarity.
p_j -- should I send one of the Siglo IVs back to you or keep it in the pass?
Alright -- it looks like it was Lopaka who put this together and prophetic_joe was just the middle man. I pm'd Lopaka and haven't received a response, so for convenience we'll assume the extra Cohiba was a gift for me :smiley37: -- and my other clarifications are correct.
My proposed put/takes:
Padron No. 9 Maduro for a Cohiba Siglo IV (the No. 9 had a few bucks on the Siglo IV, but 2 years of age has me willing to make that trade)
Chicago Reserve by Rocky Patel for the Montecristo IV (this one is iffy -- the Chicago Reserve is only available at a local B&M -- feel free to balk)
God of Fire Carlito Churchill for the Opus X Super Belicoso (I scored the GoFs at auction and paid $13.50 per stick -- both rare, my price paid was similar to the MSRP of the Opus)
Macanudo Vintage 2000 No. 1 for the Don Pepin Garcia Generosos (Blue Label) (contrary to popular belief, these Macanudos are smoking very well and still selling in $20 range. I scored a box at auction about 2 years ago, and I paid in the $120 range)
AF Hemingway Short Story for the Carlos Torano Gold Double Corona Churchill (not much to say here...)
Thoughts/comments?
My analysis:
Padron '26 ($14-$15) ; Cohiba IV ($11-$12)
Rocky Chicago ($?) ; Monte 4 ($7ish)
GoF ($20-$23 (EGQ $13.50)); Opus X ($13)
Macanudo ($15-$20 (EGQ $10)); DPG ($6)
SS ($5); Torano ($5)
I'd say you're feeling generous today.
Will
My biggest problem is a dearth of cigars in the $8 to $12 range -- plenty under $8, and way too many over $12 (I blame the box splits). I'm certainly not trying to escalate the prices here, and I think the Cohiba is really the only one where the value argualbly goes up in a significant way.
One more thing -- I have a box of Macanudo Jades -- they're 20-25 years old -- one of those has to be comparable to the Ashton VSG, right?
As far as the extra Cohiba...keep it in there :smiley4: Just add it to the list.
Not hearing any strenuous objections, I will coordinate with Jaime and get this out as soon as possible.
No worries -- I'll send Paddy a pm (but I think he's off galavanting around Ireland, Mexico or the Ivory Coast...). We're going to have to scrounge up some new names if this is going to be perpetual.
EGQ is taunting me!!! Leaving his mailbox full so I can't respond with my address!!!
Honestly, EGQ - I know it's hard to part with a well aged Macanoodle, but you gotta give it up, buddy. :smiley2:
I'll play again if George revamps it...Macs in a pass. What a concept.:smiley17:
My mailbox has been cleansed...
Sorry for the delay -- the package went out today -- USPS 03100480000024698258.
Of course when I got home, I noticed a Mac on my desk -- 99% certain it was supposed to be in the package, so I'll be sending that separately.
