Here is my new humi that I got for Christmas finally seasoned. Gotta love a brother and his wife who picked this out for me.:smiley20: No new pics of the coolidor...pretty boring.

This is a great thread going.
Here's a pic of one of my humidors. I won this several years ago at the JR in Whippany, NJ, it was the grand prize and donated by Lew/JR. It is a one of a kind prototype and was too expensive to mass produce. At least that's what Lew said.
It's about 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall. There are four sections. all come right apart. The first is the top. Not humidified at all but a good secret stash area for things like cigar shipment receipts, illegal contraband, etc.
The second section is the windowed cedar tray humidor. The three shelves slide out and can hold around 100 toros each or so.
The third section is the box humidor. It holds about 18-20 boxes/bundles if you are good at Tetris.
The final section is just the stand. This is all painted board. No veneer or real tiger maple. Pretty well made. I currently have one of the JR bookshelf humidors (you'd buy some library editions of Bolivar, ERDM, etc and get it for $50) on top of it. It's similar in width and adds another section, although the quality and tightness is not even close.

No. I'm from upstate NY near Oneonta/Utica area/
I was down there for some herfs. I have been there in a while though. Always fun to paw through the connies and try some singles.
Okay, so I'm a total noob, but here is the coolerdor I just put together, so I could start collecting until my dad and I can get together and build a real humi in the summer. I built this for about 10 bucks, stole the cooler from the wife's grandfather, bought a walmart hygro and a humidifying stone, and got some cigar boxes for free. I think I did a decent job considering I had a Gerber, a cheap jigsaw, and some wood glue. (The 'top shelf' is waiting for the 8 premium cigar sampler from cbid. I see what you guys mean when you call it the devil site, I sure could get into trouble quick there.)

sorry for the hugeness
It's not perfectly airtight, but that Arturo Fuente lid fits very snugly in there, so it's close between that and the cooler lid. I've read also that you don't want 100% airtight, as that can cause mold to grow. Now I just need to stock it with some better cigars.
Very creative coolidor! :smiley32:
My 1st humidor, I got it from my girlfriend for my birthday.

Well, that's all for now. Thank you for touring my humidor.
Sorry for the size. I'm still new at this.

Looks nice and a fine collection. However, a word of free advice . . . do not store that Java with the rest of your sticks. Although not as pungent as other flavored cigars it will still alter the flavor of the rest of your cigars.

Excuse the messy desk. I'm a noob and here's my first humidor. This was when I first got it so that's why it's empty.

My digital hygrometer is on it's way.

Here are two pics of mine. I am getting very light so I am going to have to start hitting up cigarbid.
I have a 100 cigar humi that used to be full...it seems like just yesterday.
That is what is refered to as a Cohiba Yellow Band cigar. They are made in the Dominican Republic and, from what I understand, were the target of a recent law suit. I believe they are no longer being offered. If you look closely at the band it says "Republica Dominicana" on it (the black "line" under "Cohiba".)
I am sure others can offer more information than I can.
Heres my 100qt coolerdour. I think it's nearing full capacity.
Why thankee. I think I recognize your pic. Was that you in Raising Arizona? "You're young and you've got you health Hi. What do you want a job for?"
You see what you made me do, I finally had to break out the digital camera.
My first humidor was a large tupperware that held 2 cigar boxes. Then some crappy eBay glass top, now this Savoy.

You can't see them all in the pictures, as the spanish cedar sheets in the bottom hide another row. I say this in defense of my newbish stash. I am still a little insecure about my shrinking stash. All my cigars are just going up in smoke...
Yeah , I knew it wasn't Willaim Forsyth's character. There is a resemblence there. Especially late on a sat night. Never heard of the Trailer Park Boys. I mean other than the ones I know. I'll have to google it right now.
My Humi
Heres my little desktop humi, aside from the isoms theres no particular reason for the others being in there over other sticks, they were just there first. Also, here's my coolidor stash. I didn't think it would be too interesting taking a pic of the cooler, so I just took one of its contents.
