Diplomaticos #2. Overshadowed by the Monte #2, and other more popular brands, the first one was harsh. Last night, some three years later - outstanding.
One afternoon last week, working from home, I sat and enjoyed the biggest cigar I've ever smoked.
This had been sleeping peacefully since it was gifted to me by a member of this board over 2 years ago. (Many thanks, you know who you are.)
I had always thought these were somewhat of a gimmick, but I enjoyed it thoroughly, all 2 hours 27 minutes of it. I'd read these had horrible burn problems due to the different wrapper leaves, and while the darker (Maduro??) did burn a bit slower, a few gentle corrections fixed it up.
