La Vieja Habana :smiley4: very good smoke, mellow and relaxing. Enjoyed it with a little Dewars on the rocks. Still debating on my next smoke of the evening.

Had a Macanudo (yeah, yeah, I know, but it was free) Robust while helping my father in law build a front deck on their house. It wasn't terrible, but not all that good either.
Then a Perdomo La Tradicion Cabinet Series P figurado when we finished. Unfortunately, I was punished by the cigar gods and it was so plugged I destroyed it trying to get it to draw. I really like the taste of these, I'll have to try and get them in a different vitola.

I don't understand all the negativity for the Macanudo brand. Could someone explain it to me? I've had one, it wasn't the absolute best smoke of my life but it was just fine, seemed like a very well made cigar.
Last night I had:
Joya de Nicaragua Gran Consul
Wow.:smiley40:
Now, with that said, can you think of about 30 other smokes that are easily as good, or better AND less expensive? If you don't, stick around here a while and observe / be corrupted, and then you will realize that Macaduno is a mediocre overpriced example of relentless marketing.

BTW, to keep with the thread, I had a CT 1959 Exodus today. Very nice.
