Last night was an RP'92, v nice.
Had an Africa figurado last night. Burned like hell, but sure tasted good. Spicy and aromatic.
Had my first OpusX tonight. I wouldnt say they are overrated, it was a very good smoke and i didnt have any problems with burn or draw.
smoked 3 montecristo number 5s. Small but nice. The 2nd one was slow to draw :smiley21: , hence the 3rd, just to check.
No they weren't illegal, I'm outside the zone :smiley41: .
RASCC, sweet as ever
Opus X Petit Lancero, snifter of Casa Noble Anejo Tequila and a bottle of Winter Bourbon Cask Ale by the fire... Very nice... :smiley37:
last night - Por Larranaga Petit Corona
tonight - Partagas Shorts
Torano Signature Perfecto --- started slow but once opened up WOW :smiley20:
Over the weekend...
Punch Grand Cru
Cubita SMS
JdN Antano Reserva Gran Consul (Thanks Mauied :smiley20: )
Monday... Famous Smoke Buenos Madurito (a nice quickie after lunch)
Juan Lopez Seleccion #1
Went to the new Morton's Steak House in my town last night with a couple of friends to watch election results, have some bourbon (Wild Turkey Rare Breed and Woodford Reserve) and smoked a Punch, small cigar--probably a Pita or Elite.
Surrounding suburbs are rapidly all becoming smoke-free. Pete Miller's in Wheeling-no inside smoking as of early November.
Found out that Ram Microbrewery / restaurant also in Wheeling, so it must not be law, DOES allow cigars in the bar; had lunch there yesterday and they have a big humdor right next to the hostess desk-Opus X, Mike Ditka, H. Upman, Cohiba, Montecristo to name a few of their offerings.
Yesterday I had a 5 Vegas Classic and a RASCC (thanks planenut!)
Smoked a Punch at the Garden of the Gods in Illinois yesterday.
Yesterd I had a cuba aliados candela - it was actually pretty good. Today a LFD dbl ligero. It was a short fattty. Tasty, but ran like a sob.
Smoking a VSG Corona Gorda right now, and have a nice Padron 1926 #9 on deck for later.
November 12th:
Opus X Reserva D'Chateau
Padron 1926 #6 maduro
For our wedding anniversary I had a Cohiba Siglo IV, thanks Shelby07!
I just smoked a Don Lino Africa. Not a bad smoke. I thought is was great for the price.
It was better than some of the other sticks I've had lately. I think I am ready to pick a few nicer sticks and see if I noticed the difference.
RASCC :smiley41:
Just tried one of those Perdomo Lot 23. Not one that I would recommend to anyone.:smiley21:
11/14
Oliva rob. mad. What a great smoke!
A great short smoke
very nice. good price.
holy balls! i've got 238 posts!
i am totally out of control.
Review stick #2 from Dan, posting review now.
yesterday - RP Edge. Very nice - I had not had one of these before, as I have had 90 and 92, and didn't like them much. I'll grab a few of these edges for the cooler though. Thanks Newfie!
smokin an RyJ Bully
Tatuaje P Series - which was not too bad for a sandwich filler smoke. Not quite as strong as the standard line or the Havana VI's, but very good flavor for the cost.
last night - Ashton VSG Enchantment. Still one of my fav's. :smiley20:
Well I had, or tried to have a Fuente Curly Head. Uhg. :smiley6: At least now I can say, I let it die, and if I had a river, I would have tossed that thing right in it. Plugged, stinky and foul. Janitor in a drum and doggy done left it.
Maybe this means I am developing my taste. Before this, I smoked em all no matter what. :smiley1:
I don't know, I may dissect it later. :smiley23: I poked the hell out of it until it started looking like a cheroot, and it still wouldn't draw, still stunk and tasted like, well it tasted like a dog rocket smells. :smiley36:
Maybe just got a bad one, dunno.
"Curly Heads are a medium filler cigar made with the exact same tobaccos used in the famed Fuente group of legendary premiums."
just had a 5 Vegas Series A. dissapointing. it was my first. tasted a little young, maybe. i don't know, it wasn't good. i've got plenty more, i'll let them sit a little longer.
Plasencia TKO....a whole lotta wallop from such a little cigar.
