Tatuaje Gran Cojonu! Haven't had one in forever
Box of Cohiba Siglo II's.
A dirty rat and an L40. Quick question I dont plan on smoking these probably for years and was wondering what I should do to take care of them. They are very oily and didnt come in Cello any recommendations?
5 pack alec bradleys black market gordo, a fuente 10 pack hemingway natural sampler :smiley2:
I found out that putting cigars aside for that special moment tends to lead to just collecting cigars. It's a special moment anytime I can light one up and enjoy the moment. But that's me.
Just speaking for myself here, of course, but I have also found that it leads to disappointment. I'm not sure there is a cigar out there good enough to live up to the expectations I put on it when I've saved it like that. I've found the only reason I don't smoke certain ones is because I like to see them in my humidor and after I smoke them I won't see them there anymore. I do eventually get over that though, usually with the help of a few drinks that bring out my, "I just don't give a shit" attitude. Then they all are in danger, the date or the occasion doesn't much matter.
Every day when I get up, I see myself in the mirror. I consider that a special occasion at this point!
My take on the whole saving cigars is that I would hate to drop dead and my last thought on the way to the ground be a regret that I had left some expensive cigar unsmoked. I drink my best whiskey and whisky first, now, too.
Yeah - ladders and a case of MRSA in the hardware the doctor installed has kept me laying pretty low. But I am going on a cruise (come hell or high water), with hardware attached to the leg because I need to stay silly drunk for a week. Maybe the alcohol will clean my wounds up! And I'm hoping my cabin is high enough on the ship that I have no worries about any of the sewerage backing up into my cabin if the power shuts down! (thankfully we're not going via Carnival and we're booked into a balcony cabin on Deck 8) LOL
Good to see you around. I hope the wifey lets you play with the old crew! :smiley20:
Just received a fiver from Thompsons:

Romeo y Julieta 1875
I also picked up a fiver (Acid Atoms) from J&R.

20 of AJ Fernandez's finest Toro Overruns. :smiley2:
Holy crap, a six year in-thread necro-bump.........amazing.
Box of Punch Bareknuckle's Corona.
With a little aging they make a nice smoke.
CBid customer service was poor, in my opinion - not willing to fix a problem. Even had trouble getting customer service to remove my account. I'm VERY disappointed, considering the $$$ I've spent there and the length of time I've been a customer.
Nope - I'm completely done with Cbid.
Just bought a box of Partagas Black Label Tubos to my humidor. I'll let them rest a month or so then fire one up.
Sent from my Star Trek communicator
Picked these up today. Haven't had any of them and can't wait to try them. :smiley37:

A couple of Flor de Oliva non maduros.
No new cigars to report.
It's unfortunate that photo's were posted. Bad form. At least the sender wasn't identified.
I think it is cool to see what people get sometimes as long as the sender is unknown it seems like there would be no harm.
Thanks?
I probably should explain further that I'm not trying to be contrarian, just trying to carry a conversation regarding that specific subject to help me understand why it is considered bad form here. I know you explained to me one time that the members here didn't like to have things like this posted to keep them from being hassled by moochers, I do understand that, but if the sender remains anonymous there wouldn't seem to be any potential for that to happen to the sender.
You're right that the sender was not directly identified with the pic. That doesn't mean he's not identified though.:smiley2:
There are other factors besides exposure to moochers, like......what if you sent bombs to a couple of people. Would you want them comparing the "quality" of their bombs? All it takes to get that kinda shit started is one pic. Now, consider that maybe you've been a member of the board for several years and have sent, seriously, dozens of packages of cigars out. This could embarrass the sender, cause hard feelings etc.,etc.....
Personally, I make a post saying thanks to the brother....unless there is a note that tells me not to, which happens more often than you might imagine.
I apologize for the bad form on posting the picture.:smiley18: Will never happen again.
8 x Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 Sungrown
8 x Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 Natural
8 x Arturo Fuente 8-5-8 Maduro
1 x My Father Flor de las Antillas
1 box (20) Cuban Stock Royal Selection
I was shocked to find...
Cohiba Siglo III's in aluminum tubes at a small vendor stand in Labadee, Haiti. Pricey, but definitely legit. It was the one thing he was not haggling prices! LOL
Trinidad Fundadore's at a Casa del Habano in Falmouth, Jamaica. Again - a bit pricey, but definitely the real deal!
I wished I would have been better prepared to make some purchases - the manager at La Casa del Habano was looking to deal on boxes. Coulda walked away with a nice haul. Unfortunately I went with the mindset that there was no such thing as "legit " cigars in Jamaica.
Unholy Cocktail 30 :smiley20:
I've had all of these before but the Gran Consul is a personal favorite. :smiley20:
