I just smoked a Romeo and Juliet short churchill. A nice cigar. Medium flavour. This particular one also had a great draw.

Afternoon- CAO Brazillia Cariocas
Evening- Don Pepin Garcia Invictos
Short Story...With a little Wild Turkey. :smiley20:
Finally had an Ashton Aged Maduro. Pretty good smoke.
Enjoyed a 40-degree day with a Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 robusto. Good performer, as always. I prefer the 1990, but both are great.
Enjoyed a Gurkha Nepalese Warrior. Thanks chefchris!
Partagas short while walking the dog.
tonight, i'm going to have a DCM stanford 90th
DCM robusto is probably my favorite cigar. looking forward to trying this because i love cameroon wrappers, too.
Today I smoked the last of the R&Js I got from that Altadis 4-pack sampler promotion last spring. Fair smoke, not a lot of depth. But certainly not objectionable in any way.
Just finished a Rockey Patel Vintage 1990 Sixty Maduro, Nice rich smoke, mmmmmm, I can still taste it!
I had a Cabaiguan Corona Extra with a year of age on it, and a Carlos Torano Exodus 1959. This is my third Exodus 1959 that I have not enjoyed! I'm done with these guys, regardless of everyone elses opinions of them.
Went to the cigar bar last night and enjoyed the following...
Padron 1926 – This cigar had a nice wrapper with no noticeable defects. It lit easily and had an even burn all the way down. The draw was a little hard for the first half of the cigar, but it opened up and was nearly perfect for the second half. I consider this cigar a mild to medium bodied smoke. I have a hard time picking out flavors, especially since I was drinking a glass of Elijah Craig 18 Year bourbon, neat, but I think I detected a bit of a woody flavor. There was no harshness at all and the cigar didn’t get hot until it was just about to burn my fingers. I enjoyed this smoke.
Fuente Fuente Opus X – I’m not sure which Opus X this was…it was between a four or five inch torpedo. This cigar also lit easily and burned perfectly. The draw was nice and even all the way down and I consider this smoke a mild to medium bodied smoke. The flavor was completely different from the Padron 1926. The word ‘creamy’ came to mind as I smoked this one. I smoked this one all the way down…probably a little too far actually, as there was barely anything left to hold onto as I took my last draw.
The Opus X was a little more mild than the Padron 1926. I enjoyed them both very much and would like to thank the BOTLs who hooked me up. Thanks go out to SLC and Hefty!
My apologies...I guess this should have been posted in the review thread and I should have just listed the smokes here.
I've got a CAO Black Gothic sitting in my desk drawer here at work with me, I will be going over to my smoking buddies house after work to fire it up. I can't wait to try this one out, I've not had a CAO yet.
I had a montecristo white label last night while watching the first half of Mr. & Mrs. Smith on my ipod. Good cigar, and entertaining movie so far.
Also, :smiley20: for NJ weather finally warming up a bit.
Smoked a Mac Gold that I got in a trade today. Decent smoke, but not much depth.
i had a Don Kiki Red Label Torp
this is the 3rd i've smoked from the box i bought about 2 months ago and the first i've really enjoyed, it definately made me forget any bad memories i've had with this stick
It warmed up to the low 50's in Indy yesterday, so it was nice enough while I was grilling the salmon and shoveling snow off the deck to smoke a J.L. SALAZAR Y HERMANOS RESERVA ESPECIAL from a sampler I ordered a while back. I don't recall if I had the Toro or Robusto.
last nite I had a RP 90. I've never had so many problems with a cigar. I was trying to relax and watch the Sopranos and couldn't enjoy it because of the 2 dozen relights. It wasn't like any other RP I've had. Terrible burn and went out every 3-4 minutes. If this would have been my first RP Vintage, it would've been my last.
:smiley38: Take that Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 !!!
san cristobal el principe
Camacho SLR Maduro last nite. I made myself a bath, got a tv real close and watched Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Good smoke with good construction, just don't think I'm quite ready for the Camacho line yet.
I smoked a bolivar Royal Corona last night. It was a great cigar. They never dissapoint me.
I've got a Bahia Blu B500 to smoke this afternoon, I'm not really sure what to expect. The reviews I've seen have been mixed, but you never know till you smoke it.:smiley20:
I had an RP vintage 90 last night, one of my favorite smokes which always delivers the goods (excluding chefchris' experience a few posts ago...)
I had a San Jose earlier today. Cx2 about 3 hours ago and working on a Grand Habano Habano #3 right now.
The San Jose I got in a pack of 3. Apparently they are an older brand. This was a great cigar. It was nutty then into the chocolate midway to the end. I have never heard of these before and I would definately buy more when I find them.
The Habano is giving me a hell of a ride right now. Im about 2 inches in and on my 3rd re-light.
Any way its been a long week, hence the 3 cigar night:smiley4: finally enjoying a night off.
Started off with a Cuaba Divinos, then had a Rocky Patel Sun Grown Torpedo, then finished off with an Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown.
Nice day.
Just got done a Montecristo bueno fortuna that I got as part of my superbowl contest prize. It was an awesome smoke... more full bodied than most of what I've been smoking recently. Really great smoke.
Thanks CgarDan!
Today, I smoked that Montecristo White from the Altadis giveaway. Normally, I would've given it at least 6 months of rest, but I was considering a Monte White ashtray deal from Mike's and wanted to remind myself of the taste. Still damn good.
LGC Series R, Natural
Smoked a Cuaba tonight. I like them. It was a good smoke. Very interesting. Nice and tasty.
CAO Brazilia Gol... again oustanding :smiley20:
made better with a good time in the chatroom, thanks to hefty, drew, and rev
smoked the Guantanamera ISOM that my dad gifted me last night. Pretty good, didn't have that "twang". And it don't mean a thang if it ain't got that twang.
This week I smoked a La Aurora Preferidos Corojo Gold Tubos. It was my third one and I can officially announce that I will NOT buy another of these overpriced POS's. I've had draw issues with every one of them (bought from three different places).
This morning I smoked a Trilogy Tri-Press Authentic Corojo. Very tasty. I've had three of these as well from various sources. Each was significantly better than the La Aurora Gold and cost one hell of a lot less. Sadly, I haven't seen these around on C-Bid any more :smiley6:. Oh well, I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to satisfay my corojo fixes.
had an Indian Tabac Maduro a bit ago... been sitting for around a week and definately need another month or two, pretty bitter yet
