PAM Monarca and a Trinidad Colonials(ISOM)
For my fake birthday today I had in this order:
Davidoff Diademas Fina
Cohiba Siglo IV
RyJ EL2005 Petite Piramide
A little monty rubosto. 1st one I've tried. Not bad, nothing special. :smiley41:
after eating a huge meal at a "grill your own" steakhouse i decided i had to smoke something big and strong, so i picked a Gurkha X Fuerte Churchill... what a cigar! its a bit too costly for me to smoke it often but its defintately a stick i'll try to have on hand, lasted all the way through the movie i was watching
Sancho Panza Glorioso
Don Kiki Brown Label
As a newcommer to this sport i'd have to say I loved (my 1st gar )the s.panza glorioso and after 2 martinis I got brave and tried the Don Kiki....WoW, what a mistake but i'm learning...
The DK was a 5 sample pack I picked up with my Humi from CC, anywayz they were the Full flavored brown labels and pretty much kicked my ass !
Davidoff grand cru #5. A little disapointing. Plus it is cold here today:smiley6:
Don Kiki Brown Label Toro. :smiley4: , the new box lasted all of about 4 min, before the 1st one fell victim. :smiley41:
Arturo Fuente Cuban Corona Maduro.
Nothing is good to relax after some hard tennis than homework over a good Fuente. Sweet, aromatic, and not too heavy for the exhausted student.
Hdn Epicure #2 with a ew glasses of La Chasse du Pape Syrah 2001
Incredibly good combination that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Indios puros maxima reserva and a puros bundle rolly. The rolly was better then expected for a bundle stick and I'll be having another tonight. Felt like I was smoking a tasty oak barrel.
CAO cameroon.
Had a Ashton VSG last night. Gonna be honest ... not that impressed.
Finally smoked one of the Punch london club maddies I bought a box of.
For a quick smoke it was pretty nice. Definitely gonna keep a box of those on hand!
Yesterday had a Bolivar Churchill in the afternoon while out on an errand.
A few ISOM Monte minis outside on the deck with coffee breaks throughout the day. These are tasty, I usually end up looking like I'm toking up when I get to the end of them. I'm not about to use a roach clip either, that might be pushing it a bit too far.
After work a JLP Cremas ISOM on the drive home, finished it out on the balcony once there.:smiley41:
Honestly, out of all of them the Monte minis were the best, but they just didn't last long enough!
Cheers
Rich
Gurkha Dynasty, smoked it at Tampahumidor. It was an interesting Cigar, started off a little spicy and mellowed out. My best description was the subtle sweetness of the Shaggy with a hint of the CAO Italia Flavors mixed in. An interesting yet good smoke.
Smoked a Roly, first one I've ever had. I think I'll be looking for a bundle soon.
Fonseca Cubano Limitado Torpedo
A Perdomo wheel smoke and a Indio Puros piramide. Both decent, but nothing particularly nice. The perdomo was very young and was not the rosado I remember from years ago. Didn't look like the perdomo wheel rosado's I used to get. Well I've got 49 to go. I'll see what a few months will do for them.
RASCC last night, bit tight but still good.
H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Toro. A recommendation from my B&M. I've had it for 3 months or so. Just waiting for the right time to smoke it. Being 70+ degrees outside, I smoked it after work and it was freakin' amazing.
Draw was nice, a lot of smoke, and a pleathora of flavor. It was wonderful. Must have in my rotation now.
Had a pretty good day of smoking.
Morning - JLP Crema ISOM
Early afternoon - another JLP C (great value and pretty tasty)
Early evening - Cohiba Siglo 1 ISOM I picked up this afternoon at a B&M (well as close as we've got to a B&M round here anyway). I just couldn't wait.
Late evening - Bolivar Churchill, a bit tame after the previous smokes.
And something else that I can't quite recall at present, but it wasn't really that great.
Cheers:smiley41:
Ashton ESG, Opus X Super Belicso- Premium Nite!
Gurkha Doble Maduro Churchill. Great draw, lots of smoke. Good taste, but not sure if it's my favorite.
Right now I am half way through a Trinidad Fundadores, Man this a fine cigar, goes nicely with Claret.
Edit: Just finishing now, amazing
I smoked an ISOM Partagas 8-9-8 today. I always love these smokes. They are great.
A 5 year old MC#2 Habano this morning. A Tatuaje HVI Victorias after dinner. :smiley20:
I had an unbanded ISOM. I'm not sure what it was and it is my last ISOM. Someone had gifted it to me about six months ago.
I smoked a CUBAN Trinidad just now. I always forget the exact name, but it was GREAT!
Cuaba Tradicionales, tight as a MF but what smoke there was tasted great.
I had a Indios Maxima Reserva churchill last night. Paired with The Glenlivet, The Bass draft and The Miller lite's. The scotch drinkers know what The.
Romeo Reserva Real. Mellow against Mich Ultra Amber. Preoccupied with cigar porn the whole smoke though.
Padilla Hybrid (nubbed it) with a glass of iced tea.
my first CAO Italia... had a somewhat hard draw but good flavor, i liked it
Had a Monte Mini with coffee this morning
JLP Crema in the car on the way to, and back from, lunch (I had to let it go out while at lunch and revive it after, which is clearly not recommended):smiley40: .
A Bolivar Churchill on the way home from work
and a (an) H.Upmann Coronas Major to cap it all off while watching 'The 'Havana' on DVD. This Upmann is a recent arrival and had a different (more colourful) band on it compared to the dull brown that I'm used to.
Another pretty good day of smoking:smiley41:
PS: all ISOMs except the Bolivar.
Cheers
Rich
A 4 year old Punch-Punch. :smiley20: Earthy, yet oh so smooth.
