Great event today with Miguel Schoedel of Roberto Duran Cigars. Formerly with CAO and Torano. He blended the Salutem from Torano. Great BOTL... Check them out if you get a chance.

1 box (26) Padron 3000 Robusto's
10 x Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo's
10 x Arturo Fuente Anejo 48's
From last backorder....

Picked up:
3-Tat 2014 Monster "Jekyll"
4-Davidoff Classic #1
2-Padron 45th
2-Padron 1926 #2 Maduro's
2-Padron 2000
...and a good time was had by all!
1 box (10) RyJ Wide Churchill
A couple weeks back a friend went to Mexico and brought me back a box (25) of the Te-Amo #4's
Another friend just got back from Mexico Saturday and I picked up the box of Te-Amo #4 Anniversario's he brought me back from his wife (she works where I do) just a few minutes ago.
If you've never tried these you should. They're a 5 x 42 cigar that are mild to medium in strength. I find they make the perfect "yard gar" You can't beat the price either. These were picked up at the duty free shop in the Cancun airport and the sticker on the bottom says $85 USD

Pretty much my favorite stick. If anyone wants to trade for a 5er lemme know

Those Azan Burgundy's are quite a good smoke! And you can't beat the price of them.
I found one...last one in the box.

So my friend was back in Palm Springs again the last two weeks of December and brought me back the following:
1 box (20) Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo
2 x AF Anejo #48
2 x AF Hemingway Signature
4 x House brand (just to give them a try)
Back in November while I was away on my annual hunting trip a friend went to Mexico and brought me back another box of my favorite yard gar's:
Te-Amo #4
Kristoff Sumatra Robusto & Rocky Patel Vintage 99 Conn. Churchill got a Box of each from Cigar and Pipes website Monday & they arrived today!
You gotta check out this new websites prices & free shipping I saved a ton on boxes and it got here quick!
I am telling everyone, I am thrilled with the service - Cigar and Pipes .com
I've been saving my pennies since my wife and I started planning this most recent trip to the US in earnest. Sometime in late January. Initially I connected to Tampa Sweethearts looking to score a box of Anejo #48's and got to looking over their stock and prices and in the end blew my entire wad on all AF cigars. I bought the following:
1 box (25) Anejo #48
1 box (25) Hemingway Classic Maduro
2 boxes (25 ea) Flor Fina 8-5-8 Maduro
5 - Anejo 888
5 - Hemingway Untold Story
I placed the order with none other than Arturo Fuente Jr himself and had them shipped to my daughter in Portland, OR. Upon opening package I found my cigars in perfect condition along with a card with a handwritten note inside thanking me for my business and for smoking their family's cigars signed by Arturo Fuente Jr himself. Now that's a nice touch and they're definitely a class act.
Thinking ahead, I ordered some humidity beads from Heartfelt and had them shipped to my daughters place as well. I bought a cooler in a Walmart for $20 and the cigars stayed at pretty much 65% humidity the whole trip. I now have a coolerador should I ever have enough $ to overflow my 500 count humidor....
:smiley32: very nice!
I love that place...
Speaking of "saving my pennies" - during my recent cruise/visit to Victoria, BC I paid a visit to a cigar store. The prices were not exactly fantastic, but the selection was out of this world. Momma let me pick up a few goodies!!!
2X VR Famosos
2X VR Regional Release (Canada) - looks like Edmundo size
2X Partagas Serie D #4 (one of my FAVORITES)
5X Por Larranaga PC's
The numbers were low - I really did not want to press my luck. :smiley37:
Nice selection, I'm sure you enjoyed them a lot while smoking them all in Canadian/International waters!
Yeah, sadly our gov't puts the screws to us with regard to tobacco and alcohol which I'm sure you noticed. Typically we're paying about 3 times as much for the same cigar here as you would in the US. But on the plus side, having a nice selection of some ISOM's does sort of make up for it. I"m a huge fan of the Partagas Series D's myself and if I had any pennies left over, I'd order a couple as I'm completely out.
Two packs Papa Fritas. Great "dog walkers"!
Bobalu implosion arrived today.
2 x The Boxer Limited Reserve Corojo
10 x White Label Robusto
6 x Black Label Robusto
2 x Texas Select Corona
2 x Texas Select San Andreas Robusto
2 x 1991 Vintage Domincan Robusto
2 x Texas Select Habano Series Toro
10 x Cigarillo unflavored
I put them in my new 40 count humidor.

True enough, so many cigars! I'm stocked pretty good now counting the padron split. I still want to split a box of San cristobals.

Me too, Edge Man. Bobalu sampler arrived today. Not a bad deal for 25 bucks w/ free shipping. I know they roll good cigars.

Fuzzy lookin pic. What's with that?
@webmost I've had three of the smokes in your sampler. The Triple Lijero, Texas Select (great smoke-I keep some of these around) and Sun grown Habano. I'd be interested to know how they turned out for you. I have a San Andreas Maduro resting now that I've yet to try. Smoked a Vintage 1991 today. Decent smoke.

I've been smoking cigars off and on for 12 years or so. I had always bought singles. If you told me my first box would be Drew Estate I would have given you the middle finger and smiled.

I got this a month or two ago. I've smoked two. First was great. Second was good albeit rushed. I'll let them chill for a bit.

I'll give you the middle finger if you don't send me that box of cigars!!! LOL
But I hear you! There was a time back in the day (I hate to admit) that I was "interested" in Drew Estate cigars. It was a passing fad at the time (especially the Acid line) In retrospect - largely :smiley11:. But the Liga Privada line does have my interest - I've not had a bad experience yet.
