3. A.F. Hemingway Signature Maduro

What do you guys think?
Time to take pics and ship this baby out. Puff you ready?
P.S. We ran out of room on the Put/Take sheet so I made up another.
Alrighty - it's been a while, Puff hasn't been logged on since late July, and in consulting with a couple guys in the pass, I'm gonna elect to move this pass forward to the next guy on the list - Cabaguan Juan's up.
Hey CJ - you ready for the incoming? Assuming your current address (or the one you want these sticks sent to) is the one in your profile? I put a work address on the pass list.
Post back with which addy you want the pass box sent to you we'll get this rolling on the last leg of the journey.
Mebbe we can meet up at Shelly's to wrap it up.:smiley2:
Good call. :smiley20: We do not need another one of those reaganyouth experiences with as smooth as this pass has gone.
Great call Paul!!!!:smiley1:
Skip Him !!!!!!!
Next !!!!!
It's nice to see this pass moving along so smoothly. You've done an excellent job on this one Paul. :smiley20:
Paul, either one will work, but maybe do my home address since it will be in an AC building rather then in and out. My address in my profile is my home one. I like the idea of meeting up at Shelley's to wrap things up. I'm ready, just send her on home to Bethesda!
Good call on the re-direct. Also I went and bought a new pic card reader at lunch and will post my pics soon. I never did find that camera cord. I would like to blame it on my 3 yr. old but after a lengthy discussion last night it appears my wife had it last.... good thing I like her.
Got all I need. Will send it out tommorrow. I'll post the DC# then. Have fun Jon!!!!!!!:smiley37:
In coming Jon:smiley32:
DC#0305 0830 0001 2235 2341. Have one of two pics, will attempt to post once I've got the second one.
Well, I picked up the package from Dickson yesterday, cut through a roll and a half of duct tape, dug through two Sunday papers worth of packing paper and retrieved the goods. I opened up the Tupperware and Ziploc baggie and placed them in my coolidor for the time being, as I won’t be able to get to it until tonight. I haven't thorough checked it but everything looks good thus far. Once I figure out my P/T's I'm hoping to enlist Maui to help me with the picture taking and posting. Then possibly wrap up this transcontinental voyage with him. Let me ponder my P/T's and consult the elders. High five to all who have participated so far.
Sorry for the delay. It has been a combination of no internent at home, work suddenly picking up, and camping over the weekend. Ok, now my possible picks:
Take-Puts:
#12 Torano Torpedo - 5 Vegas 2006 Limitada- #65
#11 Torano Perfecto - 5 Vegas 2006 Limitada- #66
#43 Punch Rare Corojo - Camacho Corojo Monarca- #67
#9 AF Double Chateau - Camacho Corojo Toro- #68
Any objections or this cool?
no worries - looks cool. :smiley2:
now when are we gonna light up? :smiley20:
everyone - don't forget to post your picks if you haven't done so!
Maui and I will be meeting up on thursday to finish this pass.:smiley1:
Can't Wait to see the pics from the regular camera :smiley20:
So CJ and I got together tonight - had a couple sticks, couple burgers, couple beers. At the end of the night all I can say is that the pass is complete...
Now the only things that we have to attend to are:
1. I started with 14 sticks - we're ending with 27 sticks. Which means we're over by 13 sticks. As mentioned in the beginning, we're going to split the 13 between the two best photos (I had said before for landmark and "other" - but to make things easier - we'll do a vote (to be done in the not so distant future) on all the pics, including the ones from the disposable - and the photo with the highest vote gets 7, second highest vote gets 6.
2. How do we know which 27 sticks Mauied? Great question - I'm sending two folks that have not participated in the pass requests - one my list of 27 sticks (sorted randomly) and another to arbitrarily pick 13 numbers - it's not scientific, but it works. The first 7 incremental numbers picked go to the highest vote count, the next 6 numbers go to the second highest vote count. Should have this wrapped up within the next 3-4 days, if not sooner.
3. Will post the disposable pics when I can - then we'll just have to vote. :smiley20:
I can't wait to see the pics. Great job on this one Paul and everyone involved.
Awesome, guys...love to see a pass go so well. :smiley20:

So when will the votes take place ?
I just have to get the film developed and online - should be in about a week (hopefully).
:smiley20:
I am having trouble with my second pic but my first pic is the next post.
This is at Saunders at Rye Harbor, in Rye NH. It's about 5 min. from my home and the restaurant where my wife and I worked in college and met. The cigars are tied to a lamp post on the Deck and the shot is of the harbor around 6 pm or so.http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...ttheharbor.jpg
Very, very cool pic. Looks like a relaxing place to light up, soak in the ocean breeze and enjoy the scenery!
agreed with the happy little cloud... very cool pic - and artistic placement of the sticks tied in the lei.
:smiley20:
The Restaurant went officially non-smoking last year. But when I worked there I managed the bar and always let guys smoke cigars and pipes in there even when the butt smokers complained. I'm good friends with the owner so I bet this fall if it's cool out and no one is on the deck he wouldn't care if I sparked up a cigar out there.
I worked there off an on for almost a decade and I used to love working lunch shifts in the spring and fall when it was cool out. I would go in early and sit out on the deck and have a cup of coffee and listen to the gulls do their thing.
Haven't checked this pass in forever. Glad to see it made it back home.
Great job guys!
Thanks again Maui.
Forgot about this one also. Paul, were you able to get the pics from the disposable camera.
Can't wait to see them
Got the pics, just have to find the time to scan them in. Gunning to get it done and up by Wednesday for polling.
Don'tcha worry - the sticks are resting for whoever wins... at a nice 65% 68 degrees...
Update?
We've got photos! Sorry (really, truly, profusely) for the delay. Anywho - there were 12 pics from the camera - all scanned in and presented for your enjoyment:

Now here's a question for those of you more wizened than I... I was looking around and someone on another site had a picture voting on cigarweekly.com - does anyone here have an account there that would be willing to post them up there or should I do it (assuming that might be poor taste) - or does anyone have any suggestions other than posting a link to the kodakgallery and having folks post their favorite image number.
Of course, if there are any volunteers, you will receive select sticks of my choosing. ;)
Thoughts thoughts?
Thanks,
Paul
