Fumador Toro - Gifted to me by ashauler
I love these cigars. Such a good smoke for the price. I need to pick me up some more of the robustos.
CAO Sopranos Associate (I really need to get around to buying a box of these soon)
Punch Royal Coronation
End of the week........Opus X Perf. No. 2
CAO America, a wonderful smoke.
DPG Cuban Clasic. Very good.
Graycliff Chateau Grand Cru / Pirate
Hey all. It's been a while since my last post due to weddings, work, and daily mayhem. But I did get a chance to smoke some great cigars this week.
Couple of Pepin Cuban Classics Robusto's
A Pepin Serie JJ Beli
Couple of Padron Maduro Londres'
A Oliva Serie V Lancero
A Handful of RP Vintage 90's Churchill's and Petite Corona's
A Troya Classico..........ehh, I think it was a Toro size
And a Tatuaje Brown Label......wanna say it was a Churchill...whatever it was, it was good
It's almost like I'm on Pepin's payroll. And to think that I didn't think much of his products in the past. Funny how that works out.:smiley29:
It was my big 40th last night so I convinced my wife to let me smoke in the office and boy did I ever. I started with a Vegas 5 A series, then a Zino Mouton Cadet No.7 and finished off with a CC seconds. Not sure what brand of CC it was but it was still the best out of the three. I would like to try another Vegas 5 thought cause I think the one I had was too dry. And of course a little bit of Courvoisier in between. :smiley4:
05/03/2008:
Old Henry Robusto -
Been resting for around 4 months. Really good smoke after some rest.
05/04/2008:
Padilla Edicion Especial Achilles 2006 Corojo -
FREAKIN AMAZING. It has been resting for a year and what a wonderful smoke. The creaminess and smoothness of the smoke totally complimented the morning and my coffee perfectly. I had a great day after that smoke. I only have one left, soooooo unfortunate that they don't make them anymore.
Is that the one with the purple band? I think CI called it the Obsidian.
Fiday i had a DPG JJ Beli Maduro. It was good, but i think i prefer the natural one more. Come to think of it, i am not really digging maduros lately. Later that day I had a Perdomo silver band, i think it is the cameroon.
Saturday I went into the District and stopped at WCD who just celebrated their 121st. year of selling cigars. La Aurora made a special cigar just for them and if you bought 3 you also got a special cigar which is only availible art their factory, so i bought 3 and got that one too. The 121st cigar was a Mini Beli Corojo Preferido with a barrel aged oscuro wrapper. Damn fine cigar. I also had a AF 858 SG that evening.
Nope. That's a different cigar.

It has a white and red label, with black and gold Edicion Especial underneath it. REALLY smooth and creamy cigar. I was very pleased at the flavor profile. Medium bodied, it didn't leave me feeling dizzy after smoking it. Perfect with coffee or a creamy liquor. Wish I had more.
Last night I had my first GOF. Was an amazing cigar. Real nice flavor, tons of thick smoke. Everything that I like about cigars, this had it. Burnt my hands some nubbing this bitch as much as I could!
Gurkha Ancient Warrior robusto
very gooe smoke!!!!
Ashton VSG Spellbound with late morning espresso.
cabaiguan Guapo. Absolutely delicious. Im gona have to pick up a box of these soon.

Gurkha Class Regent Torpedo
One of my favorite cigars! Unfortunately, it was burning really hot and harsh the last inch and a half. Didn't get to nub it, but enjoyed it non-the-less.
Yesterday I smoked 3 of varying results
Bolivar Petit Corona, one of my favorites
Baccarat Robusto, not a usual selection for me but my palate has been a bit overwhelmed lately
Oliva O Classic, in my humidor since 2003 the first 2/3 was remarkable the last 1/3 left alot to be desired
Oliva V Series Torpedo (3)
I had a Padilla Miami 8&11 corona. Was decent, I will most definitely revist em in a few months.
A Zino platinum low rider, nothing memorable, mild-medium, not bad for a $1 cigar
Today I had:
The new Nub Connecticut, I don't believe that I will revisit this particular stick
Cuesta Rey Centenario 60 Maduro, I had not had one of these in some time and it was a very solid smoke.
Perdomo Fresco Maduro with about 7 months on it, much better than when I bought it
sammis
Had a Belinda on the way to the bar, and a Gurkha Ancient Warrior on the way back.
RP Olde World Reserve Maduro Toro (Chocolaty Goodness)
Don Pepin Garcia Blue Generoso
05/07/2008
RyJ Coronitas en Cedro (Sept-06)
Padilla Edicion Especial Obsidian - Maduro
Padron Mad. Londres
Ashton VSG Corona Gorda
DPG Cuban Classic Robusto
:smiley20: for today.
Yesterday was:
Nub Cameroon, again not a cigar I will revisit
Tatuaje Havana VI
Is the Nub just marketing hype? I still have not tried one, maybe I never will.
From my point of view it is, I have smoked both varities and they do not suit me. I found them both to be bitter most of the way through almost like they were rushed to the box or something. I do give the Cameroon version more points than the Connecticut however. Maybe with some age they will improve, I still have some banging around the Humi so maybe in 6 mos. or so I will give another one a shot.
Had a RyJ Reserva Real
Today so far:
Avo LE 07
Illusione 68 (my first experience with these and I thougt it was outstanding)
Later:
Padilla Habano Robusto
St. Luis Rey Serie G Maduro
One of the better lineups I have smoked recently
Just polished off a RyJ Prince of Whales form 98...Very good.:smiley20:
Padron Anniversary 1964 that I've had aging for 6 months. Mmm just more tasty everyday
:smiley1:
sammis
Tatuaje Cojonu (What a disappointment! Draw, burn, and taste issues throughout......not the first time either.) :smiley21:
Oliva Serie V Churchill...........great smoke!
