The term whiskey is for everywhere else including the United States and Ireland.
There is only ONE type of Canadian Whisky that is made using the "scotch" methods (from barley and distilled twice) and I'm proud to say it is made on CAPE BRETON ISLAND in Nova Scotia!:smiley20:
It's called Glen Breton Rare. It cannot be called "Scotch" since it is not made in Scotland.

I have such an awesome wife. She just bought me a Glenmorangie 12 yo Portwood Finish.
Has anyone ever tried Jon, Mark and Robbo's scotch whisky ? If not, buy a bottle and tell me what you think. I like it alot. One of the guys who makes it used to work at the Maccallen distillery.
I have such a hard time finding it now. If anyone see's it at the store let me know. We could work out a trade. You ship me the bottle, I will pay for it and the shipping and send you some cigars in return for your time.
