I picked up this antique pipe today...

I took it to the local pipe shop and had it verified to be authentic and not a replica.
Here is my first pipe. It's not fancy at all, just a basket pipe I picked up at a local B&M. Being a noob to pipes smoking I find it pretty good.

My training pipe :smiley9:
Do you wear your training bra when you smoke it?:smiley36:
Just got my new toy, a Savinelli Duca Carlo pipe. Look forward to givin' her a workout.

My "new" Falcon, thanks for the pointers Bigwhiteash, worked great.
Nice!
I love my Falcon, smokes great! :smiley16:
Finally found this thread :smiley9:. But hey, here are three of mine... I think my Dr Grabow is hiding in the office somewhere. Anyways, these three were gifts from my father, who was given them by his father shortly before he died.Attachment 2351Attachment 2352Attachment 2353Attachment 2354
Although I haven't smoked any of them in a long time here is my collection. I have quite a few more that were used pipes that were given to me that I just use for display.

Very nice Hannibal. :smiley20:
Here's some of mine.

Just kidding. It's a photo from the tobacconist I use. This is only about 1/3 of the pipes they have on display, but they have enough pipes in the basement to outfit at least two more stores of the same size.
I keep my pipes stored away in closeable pipe display boxes so I don't have to dust them or worry about the stems oxidizing. I've got about fifty all together. Here's some of them for real.

I forgot to mention the museum at the pipe shop. If anyone wants to see a bunch of pics covering about 100 years of pipe smoking history, check out this link:

Very Nice MrJeff!!
I just might have to start smoking mine again. Oh Boy will the wife be upset with me then!!! :smiley36:
Just don't tell her you got the idea from me.:smiley4:
This is the one I just picked up as an early birthday present. Don't have anything other than some Captain Black for it, because finding decent pipe tobacco locally is....let's just say I'm still looking.
I spy some nice looking Kawoodies in your collection Mr.Jeff. I've become interested in them in my short pipe smoking time.
Good to know. I don't get into the Yakima area often (occasionally pass through there for Miner's before heading for Seattle), but next chance I get, I'll check it out.
Thanks MrJeff!
EDIT: Just checked 'em out, and shipping in Washington State isn't a problem. Have to do up an order when I can because Captain Black kind of sucks. :)
I love Kaywoodie pipes and have about twice as many as in that picture. I troll ebay looking for older 4 digit models from the 30's and have had good luck. In their day they were the finest American pipe made, and they still smoke fabulously. They can be had for very reasonable prices.
The Captain is good for change every now and then, but can get old. I'm glad to help out, hopefully you are able to find something that that you have been wanting to try.
My new pipe that my brother made for me.

It has been performing very well and I enjoy it very much. Thanks my bro Scotty!
It was made all from scratch. It's white oak wood.
That's really a nice pipe. Tempts me to find mine and start smoking a pipe again. Can you smoke in the greenhouse?
