i like to think i make pretty good money but i think i would have to go and kick my own ass if i spent 6500 on a box of smokes. i have never had the god of fire line but for 6500 i better achieve orgasm with ever pull. this could be just me but any other in put would be cool

I bought an 8 box of GOF Robustos when the first came out. I smoked one and sent one to King Catfish. He rated it 89.75. I would just about agree with that.
I think you either have a taste for Fuente's or not. I kinda like the earthyness in the Hemingway series.

I'm sure a lot of that $6500 is going towards that humi. Just to say you have 1 of a humi that only 30 were produced.
That said, its still a ton of money and I would never pay that much for cigars and a humi...
I dunno, if I was Bill Gates rich I would smoke whatever the F*(^ I wanted.........wouldn't even look at the $$. Who knows, if I had virtually unlimited resources, these might even be the sittin' on the crapper smokes.
Snappin' back to reality, I feel guilty torching $10 sticks, so any of these would be out of the question.

$22 for i single robusto is unreal. I find it hard to justify buying and $10 smoke, and have never had anything beyond that price tag. I would hope these are very very good.
There is no substitute for experience. I might have gone all my life and never known what a $22 cigar tasted like. So, now that I have smoked one, I can tell you that these are not worth $22. You can believe it or not, but unless you smoke one you will never know for sure.Quote:

Well, I don't feel as bad about my c-bidding now. For that amount, I've gotten a lot more than just 10 sticks. But then again, if money were no option, I'd give it a try. Too bad money is an option. :smiley36:

I picked up a GOF Churchill while I was in Boston, along with a dbl robusto. I smoked the churchill that night, and Ive got to say it was one of the smoothest best tasting cigars Ive ever had. It was a fantastic cigar and experience. It was sunday after a horrendous week of work, and this cigar just made it an awesome relaxing night at the time.
Ever since Ive picked up 2 robustos from cbid, and have been thinking of getting a box of the Chruchills to stick away for very special occasions. I still have the dbl robusto and the 2 robustos from cbid sittin in my humi. Im waiting to smoke these to see how they age.

If I were to ever smoke cuban cigars, they would probably be Bolivar or Montecristo. Vegas Robaina are very pretty also. I've been smoking a LOT of Nicaraguan lately, Pepin and Camacho to be exact.
Padrons are ALWAYS welcome in my humidor, although they aren't allowed to stay long :smiley2:
Boy, no Fuente.....that would definitely suck. I've read good things about those Ramon Allones Specially Selected, I think I'd have to give those a shot too, right along with those you mention.Quote:
