Hello you all.

Welcome from New York.
Welcome from central Oregon, USA. Have you been smoking cigars long? What kinds of cigars do you like?
Welcome, you are now free to move about the cabin.
Welcome from AZ.
Smoking cigarettes for about 12 years, left for around 3 years in the middle of my "smoking career". Then re-started when divorced. I did smok some (a couple) cigars while i was smoking cigarettes, but they didn't taste (i don't believe those can be mixed). Then, around 1 and half year ago, i decided to quit smoking cigarettes, waited around 6 months and then started with cigars. It was something like a plan on mi mind about this.
I smoke 3 or 4 cigars a day. Starting 7 out of 10 days with a Cuaba Divino after eating something. After lunch i will do something mild like R&J Petit Corona or N1. Then, during the day or after dinner, a Montecristo 2, R&J Belioso or San Cristobal "La Punta". Cohiba LE 2004 of which i have 10 boxes mostly Saturday night after or before viewing a movie with my wife.
Well, that's the "plan", but we are waiting for our 5th child, so I'm am an expert finding little holes during the day to smoke :)

Baking soda? I use baking soda to prevent foul odors from attacking my fridge.
I don't think that it's a good idea to use baking soda in your coolerdor. Baking soda will just absorb the moisture out of your cigars. You will need some sort of humidifer, such as Rh beads, gel crystals or foam(beads are the most used by the members of this board). Also make sure you get a hydrometer(digital would be best).
Do a search here for Rh beads and, also read the "how to build a coolerdor" thread in the accessories forum. Do your research before you kill all those cubans.
