What's your 5 most UNfavorable (outside of Swisher Sweets & Backwoods :smiley2:)
Mine (sofar):
Black Pearl Maduro
Consuerga
Macanudo Maduro
JR Alternative Candella (OMG might be the worst)
CI Legends (any & all)

I'm not sure if I can come up with 5, but here's a few:
1. Onyx Reserve maduro
2. AF Cuban Corona
3. Montecristo Platinum vintage 1999
4.Tierra del Sol
None of these were just terrible, save for the Onyx, but most either had major burn/construction issues (AF/Monte) or a very bitter beginning (TdS)
1. Any catalog-exclusive, or anything with a big catalog advert.
2. Anything with a list price not rooted in reality.
3. Any brand that starts with "Don." EDIT: excluding DPG, DC :smiley15:
4. Any bargain bundled smoke (non-Cuban).
5. Anything infused, painted, or otherwise artificially enhanced.
Wow... leaving Don Pepin and Don Carlos in the list is surprising :smiley3:
1. Any Helix :smiley11:
2. Any Acid :smiley11:
3. Any other flavored cigar.. Though I did smoke some thing called "Isla del Sol" (I think that was it), that wasn't horrible.

Consuegras are not on my list, nor are Backwoods, I kinda like them for fishing cigars :smiley9:

Worst cigars ever (if you have these, make sure you send them to me for proper disposal! PM me for my address):
1) Padrons of the '64, '26, 40th and 80th bent (natural or maduro, but the maduro are much worse and need much more of a quick disposal)
2) Opus, Anejos, Maduro Hemingways
3) Davidoff Diademas and Culebras or other Davidoff specials (Graycliff XX, AVO LE's, etc)
4) Any from that special island
5) La Auroras

So, what's a good consuerga? If they're seconds that keep changing, how do you know?
The one(s) I had were very dry, harsh & poorly constructed. burned fast & hot.

I'm not a "connie" connoisseur, I have only had the #9 which was pretty good. I believe it was a punch rothschild second(don't quote me). If you do a little search there is a reference list floating around the internet somewhere that will tell you what some of the #'s are.Quote:

I think the question is deceptive.
What might be dreaded for my taste, may be someones best, or even a premium smoke.
I happen to like Onxy Maduros.
As far as I think are dreaded:
Thompson's brand
Flavored smokes
Everything else I have smoked and dreaded, I thought we're good just not my taste.

No special order. IMO they are all CRAP.
At worst, its deceptive, at best, worded poorly. However, I wasn't trying to decieve, merely start a debate.
I notice a trend that almost nobody likes the flavored / infused ones.
In that same vien, I checked on the consuregras that I had, and they were in fact #9s. Others on this thread said they enjoyed them. Case in point. Now I'm tempted to get another bundle to try again:smiley24:

There is really no right or wrong answer to be debated here.....no set of "facts" around which to center any argument, everything is just an opinion.
I can't stand the CAO Italia........others love them, so what.
Two cigars people seem to like, that I really dislike are the El Rico Habanoand the Juan Lopez
I'll second el Rico Habano for this list, thought I will give him one last try since he is still resting in my box. We'll see if about 6 months helps him out at all.
smoked a garbage stick today. A te-amo domenican. It was like smoking cat litter.
I have yet to receive a pm asking for my address so you guys can send your dreaded opus's, padron's, davidoff's, etc... and have them properly disposed of.
