I found this great coffee at my local supermarket (Woodman's) - Cameron's. It's roughly $6.00 a pound for Kona Blend. Good stuff!!!

Ah okay. I figured it was due to his case of "silica vaginosis" but I was looking for a second opinion, as all callous villians should.

I'll stick with my 8 O'Clock Bean, Kona, and Gurkha. At least I know what I'm getting with these.

If you google any of his "specials" odds are you can find better prices in about ten seconds. He gives the impression that he's the only one selling whatever his flavor of the month is but again, if you google the particular beans he's hawking in any given month, you'll find hundreds of sellers offering the same exact crap, usually for less money then he's asking.

I suppose I wouldn't mind paying more for his coffee if he was a good guy but he's a complete asshole. Hell, even if he were selling it for $3.00 a pound, I'd buy it from anyone but him even if it cost me twice as much, why patronize a douche bag?:smiley5:

I believe his "unofficial" reason was you - but (for the record) I believe he said there are not enough orders on CigarSmokers (or Snobs, for that matter) to sustain his continued attempts at selling his beans here (or there).

He seems, at least on the surface, to believe he's on the right course, And (admittedly) he's running a business and I'm not. So I don't think what I think (or you, Bill) really matters to Mr. Jerry. He'll drive that bus anywhere he doggone pleases!!!

Personally - I think his marketing strategy matches his personality, and I'd be inclined to do things a bit differently. Kris' "silica vaginosis" diagnosis seems pretty accurate. Calling for banning of "friends" under some very innocuous comments seems to be a bit off - but then again - Mr. Jerry's marketing style has always been a bit different. I'm not in any position to be sure that's good or bad for him.

It don't cost him one thin dime to post his product here. All he does is cut and paste the same ad on different forums. If he only sells one bag here a month it's worth a few seconds to post. He is just all butt hurt over Bill.

I just want you to know - I had begun to collect $$$ for the MarineOne Royalty fund. But now that I see where those funds are destined to go, I'm not so sure I'm willing to encourage such incorrigible behavior...

...then again - given the choices (hooker vs. Killer Beans) - it may not be a bad investment to go the hooker route. Certainly, it may end up being the gift that keeps on giving!!!

I've actually been inclined to buy some beans from him before, from the praise his beans get at CP, I figured they were decent.

After the little fiasco here though, I've definitely thought otherwise. Especially after the fact was pointed out that they are nothing special and just resold. To me they seem no different that what I could get at Walmart for less than half the price.

Glad I never pulled the trigger before.

The dopes over on CP don't realize exactly what you just said, "they are nothing special and just being resold."

I will admit though, his prices aren't bad but you can find better prices in about 30 seconds by doing a simple google search. Now, just like your local cigar store, I'm sure if you look around on the 'net, you can find cigars cheaper than at your favorite shop BUT many people tend to patronize their favorite shop because they've built up a relationship with their shop owner. If jerry wasn't such a complete asshole, I'd say he deserves to be patronized even if you have to pay more for that you should but the problem with jerry is he is nothing but a lying slimebag with a big mouth and a very thin skin. I caught him in a lie and he refuses to acknowledge that and apologize for it.

Rod seems to like him and stick up for him because he donated a couple of bags of his shitty coffee for raffle prizes for a CP Herf. Well, if that's all it takes to buy Rod's loyalty then that don't say much for Rod.

Camp Echo in 2007-2008. The Polish Army brought two things with them; hookers and vodka.

I've got video from a buddy of mine that features a clip of the New Years Party to ring in 2007 .... I honestly don't think there was a sober person there.

Either way, I'm still glad I always ended up putting off ordering any of his specials. That money was put to better use anyhow on the cigars I always bought instead.
