I messed up again...I was at work tonight working a call. I was in the process of making an arrest when I stepped in a hole and fell face first to the ground. Looks like I have a possible torn rotator cuff. Tests scheduled for next week. My shoulder hurts like hell and my pride is suffering.

I tore my cuff about three years ago. Talk about pain. No position is comfortable.

I am better...A round of steroids is in progress seems to be helping. I hope to be back to work by the middle of the week.
I never realized how bad a shoulder injury was. Every move you make involves the use of it. Prolly the worse pain since my wisdom teeth acted up.

It sucks to get old, brother - the healing takes longer than it used to. And a shoulder injury (like a foot injury) seems to take far longer because you have to use your arms. Don't push it - it's something that could potentially affect you for the rest of your career (and beyond). Take some well deserved R&R and let it heal the right way. :smiley20:
