No sir. I do own my own biz though. Just don't feel comfortable sharing that info yet. Thanks for the welcome!Quote:

PS. Why the business question?

illilli is trying to hit you up for a job (j/k). We like Californian's - just that a schizophrenic :smiley51: cropped up from thereabouts lately - so our guard might be a little up.Quote:

Welcome, I'm in SoCal myself. Land of the worlds most expensive cigars.
Just had a thought about gar prices in Cal-If an ordinary field hand from the Dom. Republic walzted into one of my local B&M's and saw the retail price of gars he would probably shit himself.
Prices are higher in Alberta by at least double... How much can you get a La Aurora 100anos Belicoso for?:smiley25: :smiley1: They are about $30 a stick here:smiley3: :smiley18:Quote:

To be fair to the cigar merchants, the cigar prices they charge may not be high, the Cal TAX RATE on tobacco is high. I believe it’s around 47%. So yes, that would apply to North and South.

I dunno about 100 anos, but the scariest price I've ever seen in a store was $53 for a single DC Maximus :smiley26: .
Basically, if you live in Cal, buying cigars is strictly an online game :smiley19: . I like to window shop in the B&M's and buy a single cigar now and then to be polite, but a guy would have to be really rich (not me) or really ignorant to buy quantities from even the honest merchants.
What a shame, hurting the honest B&M owners! Isn't Arnold still incharge there? I heard he had to shut down his smoking tent. I wounder if he has the veto power on some of those laws or bills?Quote:

You'll like the group here. Very honest and trustworthy, if sometimes blunt, BOTL's here. The grounds are kept clean and dishonest jerks are generally run out on a rail. It's THE best place to trade on-line IMHO. Be honest, candid, and well mannered in your dealings here, and you'll find this site at the top of your favorites list.

Why didn't you say so! I'll start the bidding at $100! Hey shag, you better get 'em while they're hot!

Yes, many here take the sport of asshat baiting to whole new levels!
