Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm from southern California. Glad to be on the site! Seems to be a lot of interesting cigar stuff here.

No sir. I do own my own biz though. Just don't feel comfortable sharing that info yet. Thanks for the welcome!

Well, I have been doing the Padron thing for about a year now. My taste buds seem to like them so far...mostly the 6000 series. Also, I have tried the Cohiba (USA variety) Vigorosos. They are pretty darn tasty! I've been smoking cigars for about 6 or 8 years now I think, and fav past time is deep sea fishing. Anyway, hello to all.

Just had a thought about gar prices in Cal-If an ordinary field hand from the Dom. Republic walzted into one of my local B&M's and saw the retail price of gars he would probably shit himself.

Prices are higher in Alberta by at least double... How much can you get a La Aurora 100anos Belicoso for?:smiley25: :smiley1: They are about $30 a stick here:smiley3: :smiley18:

Padron's are great. A constant favorite for me. I dont think we are judgemental characters here so don't feel to uncomfortable about telling us about your adult film biz.

To be fair to the cigar merchants, the cigar prices they charge may not be high, the Cal TAX RATE on tobacco is high. I believe it’s around 47%. So yes, that would apply to North and South.

I dunno about 100 anos, but the scariest price I've ever seen in a store was $53 for a single DC Maximus :smiley26: .

Basically, if you live in Cal, buying cigars is strictly an online game :smiley19: . I like to window shop in the B&M's and buy a single cigar now and then to be polite, but a guy would have to be really rich (not me) or really ignorant to buy quantities from even the honest merchants.

You'll like the group here. Very honest and trustworthy, if sometimes blunt, BOTL's here. The grounds are kept clean and dishonest jerks are generally run out on a rail. It's THE best place to trade on-line IMHO. Be honest, candid, and well mannered in your dealings here, and you'll find this site at the top of your favorites list.
