How long does your torch lighter last before you have to refill it? I have a Xikar Executive that I really like but it doesn't last long on a tank of butane. I usually only get 3 or 4 cigars out of it. I completely purge it everytime I refill it. I don't ever get any blowback when filling it either. I'm thinking maybe I'm not filling it completely. Can anyone else that has an Executive offer some advice.

my Colibri triple flame $85 sucks fuel like a slade!!! 3 cigars at most and my Colibri single torch sips fuel like a Yugo!!! always purge before filling.:smiley20:
My triple flame Nibo is good for about 6 cigars, and I only use it at the golf course. By twin flame cheapie has a smaller tank and is good for about the same. My favourite is the Z-Plus in my Zippo. That thing is good for a dozen or more.
I have a Z-Plus and I love it. I dont know how many cigars I go through, but I'd say at lease a dozen.Quote:

I can get a few boxes of cigar out of my PB-207. I've never seen another lighter that lights as many cigars.
I can usually light at least 6-7 cigars on my lighters with smaller tanks, and 9-12 with my bigger ones, so your Xikar must have a really small tank or it may be that you are using a lot of butane with each light.
Ditto here, but it sure does light a cigar fast, no matter how big the ring gauge!! Also good for campfires, burning off warts, excess body hair, getting rid of loudmouths hanging around, etc.Quote:

My firebird with the little smily face stinks. Maybe about 3-4 before it hisses with no flame. Yep, I bleed it everytime.
My Nibo triple flame is alittle better but still maybe only 6-8 before it hisses with no flame.
I have what looks like a pb207 but came from a convenience store about 5 years ago before I even smoked that works best and has a sight glass to see how much is left.
Last I have a Jeep (non Jet) that seems to last forever and is still half full. I kind of prefer the milder flame if the wind isn't blowing and I don't feel like I overheat the cigar..
But hey, That's just me...
My Ronson Jet is getting 12 to 15 cigars per fill. Single jet, can't beat the price of $2.94 at Walmart. Paul:smiley41:
I am luvin my Blazer PB lighter.
I have a few of them. My favorite is the clear one. This way you can tell how much fluid is left in it. But, it does last a very long time in between refils. I smoke everyday and only fill it once or maybe twice a week.
i use my firebird for lighting everything so i'm not really sure how many cigars i can get out of it.
I'm resurrecting this thread - won a Nibo lighter from a cigar raffle a couple months back - and it works great, but I'm running into a couple things - 1) I get 4-5 cigars out of it and then it's out and 2) when it's cold, I need to stick it in my pocket or warm it in my hand for a little while for it to work. Yeah, I bleed it, etc. Just a small tank I reckon.
Now my favorite lighter is a Williams-Sonoma Creme Brulee Torch. Same butane, but with a helluva lot more firepower. First contact will hit the entire foot about 6 inches away. Filled it once, haven't filled it after (at least 30+ sticks). Sure it's not handy to take places, but it's the best lighter a buddy could ever have. :smiley2:

I use a Dupont Line 2 its nice looking but takes forever to light. Since mine was passed down to me from a grandparent its starting to leak gas and A-holes at colibri will not fix it as per the original warantee. RRR.....
haven't treid yet, but my triple torch blue rhino will probably get 8 or so at least
I like the Colibri also. I have a single torch and a double torch. I have an Ecin too, double torch. I go through several cigars on both :smiley41: , and burn my fingers too!Quote:

My colibri lasts all week, but it is sensitive to low temperatures. If I leave it out in the cold, it is sluggish. Glad I didn't spend too much on it. Wish it had a fuel gage too. When I first got it, it emptied after a few cigars. Gotta burp em. :smiley9:

The one I use is a freebie that came with a cigar order. Can't even remember when I got it, but I've been using it for a couple of years now. I usually need to fill it about once a week, so that's about 18 to 20 cigars between fills.
