VA PASS POLL - POOL 1: Landmark Photos

Hi Folks,

For y'all that know about the VA pass that ended successfully - I've been (apologetically) deferring this poll until I got the pictures back, work, excuses, etc. An absolutely travesty of justice on my part.

That being said, part of the original rules from the pass thread are:

12) Any extra cigars left over will be split between polls for the best landmark photo and the best "other" photo.

Post #266 from the thread has the details on the cigar pools for 1. Landmark Photos and 2. Other Photos. This one would be the landmark photos. The winner of this pool gets the sticks from the first pool of sticks:

Had to go with #1 due to WOXOF's creative use of graffiti and my love for The King.

#2 and #8 also get tons of style points, imho.

ok, I didn't read the rules all the way:smiley9: (not the 1st time and probably not the last), and didn't include the cigars in the pictures. However, in an effort to help ya'll forget me being a dumbass, check out the pictures of the plaque in the 4th and 6th frames in this post. It commemorates an event that was broadcast internationally. First one to guess the event wins a stocking stuffer.

That's toooooo easy... it's the "Midland Award" - 1987, Jessica McClure - fell down an abandoned well.

Hi Barry - also responded to your other thread. I didn't recheck the pages after I did the initial pics - just went back and pulled your links. B/c the poll only allows 10 items at once, any for #11 would have to be write-ins. Sorry about that, but it's the best I can do at this point.
