Introducing myself

Where to start...well I turned 18 last Thursday, but I might as well be upfront and say I've had myself some sticks here and there over the past month or two. I live in the Chicagoland area and am a Senior in high school. I have a Boxer puppy that is almost a full time job, but she's worth it and has just graduated her training class tonight. I like photography, even though I don't do it as much as I use to, but when I am feeling creative I will spend a lot of time getting what I want.

As for cigars, I started out with Acids, but I've already developed a dislike for them. A couple of my favorites so far (even though I have a long journey ahead of me) are the CAO Brazilia series, the Mx2, and the Romeo y Julieta Bully. I tried an Italia, and a Sopranos, but didn't care for them too much. I will have to come back to them later. My "humi" is a snap pack that will hold about 10 cigars and a water pillow. I much prefer robustos over the other sizes for some reason.

There is a good chance I will skip the actual humi altogether and just get a cooler.

Edit-I tried an RP edge last night and enjoyed it for the price. I also have a Padron 2000 in my box, along with a CAO gold, and an AF Rothschild to try this weekend perhaps.

howdy, i'm 18 and a senior as well, welcome to the board, i'm jealous of the sticks your smoking, i'm staying on the cheap side of things for awhile haha

the noob sampler thread is a great way to get a lot of good sticks for a cheap price, the experienced guys will hook you up nicely.

My father used to have boxers back in the 1950s before I was born. When I was little he had one left but she died of old age when I was 6 or 7 so I barely remember her. Boxers are nice dogs!

Ah, thats when they started becoming very popular. I did an informative speech on Boxers this semester. She has been a very good dog so far

boomshay-I am glad I'm not alone. I work quite a bit but don't really have anything to pay for other than my phone bill.

Cigargirl-It took forever for my registration thing to go through. I actually joined another board, but now that this has been verified or whatever, I have already gotten a much warmer welcome here. So I think I will be sticking around here:smiley36: As for the meaning of it, if thats what you are wondering, I play the Battlefield series of games and that is my tag for those.

Sprangalang-I don't work at a B&M, unfortunately. I'm further south than you, I'm from the Joliet area actually. So far I have only been to Burning Leaf Cigars. I know they have two other stores than the one by me. I Want to go to Naperville to Bull and Bear eventually. They have 9 walk in Humi's.

And as for the Newbie thread, I am going to most definately participate in that, but I figure its best to wait until the holidays are over to bother anyone about it.

Second.. Rock on BF brutha! I play BF2 and the POE mod myself these days. Word of advice... don't play while smoking a stogie "Sgt. Rock" style... you'll inhale more than one is meant too while using mouse/joystick and keyboard :smiley11: :smiley2:

I don't play nearly as much as I use to, but when I do I am usually flying in Wake Island 2007. I can't smoke in the house anyways. I actually haven't formally told my paretns yet, but I think they might know:smiley25:

yeah, smoking cigars in the house is a really bad idea unless you have a dedicated room with plenty of venting to the outside. :smiley4:

Welcome to the fray!! CAO Brazilias are a great smoke so you're off to a good start!! Just be careful because before long you'll have two humidors and a coolerdor, and be complaining that both are always full!!
