I thought this would never happen, and at the same time, I knew it would.:smiley19:

Hmm ;-).
We feel your pain
You are going to fix everything up like a boss....with that glue Dr. B. Whale! A little crack under some ash and smoke....a few dozen cold brews...., and you'll forget all about it.
That suxs because It's not like you can just buy that ashtray.
damn that sucks:smiley19:
I sorta know what you are going through! :smiley19: My CAO Oval ash tray has about a 2 in. crack in the side of it; I think I dropped it or hit against something, but I can't remember anymore. Time eases the pain my friend! That and cigars. :smiley37:
I glued it tonight. I'm still missing some pieces.:smiley23: I'll post a picture up later.
Nice quadruple post! :smiley36:
Sucks about the ashtray. I've got a couple i use that I'd hate to see damaged. Funny the things we appreciate. If you think about it, it's a polished piece of stone that we tap burnt tobacco into. Don't get me wrong, I'm the same way. I just think it odd, and curious.
That got busted up pretty good, must've fallen on your head. On a positive note, you leave so much ash residue in that thing, you won't see a single fracture by next week. :smiley15:
It doesn't look that bad. You added the solider to it right?
Save your ashes and make a paste out of them. It's done frequently to repair pipe bowls, called "pipe mud", and it works well for that. Use as a mortar for the cracks maybe, might look kinda cool depending on the ash color. It will happen, kinda, anyway during continued use.
