Jim Beam Devil's Cut is actually pretty good!
Now, Jim Beam has always been a reasonably priced bourbon rather than a "good" bourbon. Knob Creek and Wild Turkey Rare are more in line with the "good" description. I decided to try the Devil's cut when it was on sale. I was pleasantly surprised! Smooth sipping, and spicy sweet woody notes are prominent. The 90 proof bite is nice, but not too much. I'd get it again!

I haven't tried the Devils Cut.
Speaking of JW, I just finished off a bottle of JW Black. [emoji106] I prefer mine on the rocks usually. I'm tempted to try it with ice, soda and a lemon wedge next time.
