Yesterday (or technically, two days ago) I smoke a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur (a I or III, I don't recall which). I cut it with my Xikar so there was not a lot of head left, but I'm certain I detected a sweet (not a tobacco sweet, but sugary sweet) flavor around the clipped area. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the smoke. It just seemed odd to me as I've not heard these mentioned as having a sweet cap.
