Just finished a Perdomo Estate Rerserve. What a great smoke!
I'm down here in Indy - getting ready for the Allstate 400 tomorrow... Had me one of those HDM de Gourmet cigars (they've been discontinued). Strange looking (narrow ring gauge, and lonsdale kind of length). Smoked nice - a little bit of a tight draw. Classic Cuban flavor - very pleasant. Really built in intensity as I got towards the end...
Mag 46...very good

I smoked a couple of cigars on August 4th but I forgot what they were. I think one was a Quintero Brevas but I have no idea what the other one was............

Smoked a Gurkha Boer Super Toro. Nice cigar but a bit on the mild side for me.
Finished the day in the hot tub with a Fuente Double Chateau Sun Grown.
Nice.
This weekend I went on a trip up to Quebec and smoked my first legit Cubans. I still haven’t smoked the Cohiba Siglo I, Romeo y Julieta Romeos No. 2 de Luxe, and the Partagas Serie D No. 4 but am looking forward to firing them up. I wish that I could have found a Ramon Allones Specially Selected or H. Upmann Magnum 46 but they were no where to be found (ehh next time).

Damn thing was plugged solid :smiley21: BUT the whole box was like this and they made good on it and the replacement box (with the same box code) was fine. I kept the plugged ones since I smoked all the other ones already. I love these cigars so much that to me it's worth the aggrevation to try and make these smokeable. I had to ream the living heck out of it to remove a lot of tobacco (with a big fat drywall screw as a reamer) and it was still a huge struggle to smoke. Normally, plugged cigars tick me off to no end and I toss them but these taste SO GOOD it was almost worth all the trouble.
This cigar was plugged so badly that the cherry would expand to a 56+ ring (the cigar is normally 49) :smiley3:
This weekend:
- Punch Punch Punch
- HdM Epicure # 2 (Incredible smoke)
- Montecristo #2
