I wouldn't call these a "special occasion" cigar - but it is a very nice smoke, especially now after they've aged a bit. They truly seem to be coming together as time goes by. Jamie really nailed my impressions of the cigar! I'm more of a medium to full flavored fan, and this just sits right there. Nice "nutty" flavor, nice construction, nice draw - tons of smoke.
The initial retail pricing was not that outrageous by any means - it is a "limited release" cigar after all. But Cigar International's price really puts this cigar into a range that is well worth it!
Thanks for the review, Jamie - very nice!!!
If any of the splits have room for a 5er I'd be game also. If not no biggie.
I ordered a box of the toro (6.1 x 50) size for sarge and myself. If DW runs out of fivers, I'd be more then happy to get them to you. I should have the box by thursday or friday.Originally Posted by derivation
Box 618/1500. I'll try to get them plane tickets tomorrow.
This is what a good cigar community like CS is all about. Ashauler's review is dead on. This is a win-win situation. Great cigar at a very reasonable price.
Box 610/1500 made it safely to my home. Half of them went out to cigarsarge and, wouldn't ya know it, a fiver escaped to our good friend mrtr33. All I found was a note stating, "West coast or bust."
...slippery sticks.
Geesh, do I need to get the hose out??
Dear Jamie & Dennis,
Sincerely,
Rich
