It's a nice thought, but they're probably fake anyway.

Yep, nice thought. I would have a hard time considering someone my buddy, when I don't even know their name. But, to each their own.

I consider most people a buddy untill they show me other wise. There is no weirdo in me I could have said "asshole" would that have been a better term for you.

C'mon, you were doing so well. Don't fuck it up now.

I'll have to go look at the newbie sampler thread, as I missed your intro there and I'm really interested now.

When I can't remember someone's name I call them buddy. Or man. Can I start a sentence with "or"? Probably should have been a semi-colon... dang - I don't get to use those very often and I messed up a good chance there I think. Oh well.

See? Even if you decided to use proper punctuation it still would make know sense.

They weren't offered or gifted, it was an offer to buy them for significant money each. Let's not start thinking that it was a nice offer. If I wanted to buy illegal cigars I wouldn't do it, but if I were to do it, there are some people I would trust before a complete newb on this website.

They're out there already. The fakes on the Internet look like they have real bands, unfortunately.

In any case, Behike's are regular production and the Internet says that the Cubans have already spread production from El Laguito (the Cohiba factory) to other factories to meet the demand. Supposedly the only bottleneck is the rollers (although people are complaining about the glue in the boxes not being cured before they get them - which means either the boxes are also being counterfeited, or ...)

Ashauler, if BB1300's from Newfoundland, then people from there use 'buddy' as a normal term for any male (and 'darling' for a female stranger). Otherwise, there is the New York (Chicago?) usage of the word ...

Well, thank ya craig. Not being the world traveler, and absent any other information regarding the poster, I fell back on what is considered normal usage of the word buddy here on the plains.

I was wrong. You were correct.

... and neither of us is a world traveler. I've never been outside North America, although I am thinking of going to Cuba next winter. Hopefully there will be glass-top Behike's on the beaches by then.
