Well, hell, there is a lancero I haven't tried yet. I didn't even know HU made a lancero in the vintage cameroon line. Really, I didn't know they made a lancero at all.

I'm wrong on the lancero. It was one of their test brands that JR sold a couple years back. It's more of a 44 or 46 ring guage I think. It's been too long since I actually bought anything...

Picked up the smokes from the Post Office today. I'm gonna let the puro rest a day or two before I smoke it. Sorry for the continued delay, but an professionally trained and uber sensitive palate such as mine requires a cigar in perfect form.

No, I think he's saying it would be quite uncharacteristic of this pass to stay at any one person for less than 10 days.

Correct, those Philly Green Apples were getting too strong for me. I have recently switched to Backwoods Honey Berry, and they seem to be much more my speed.

Uh, ok I'll speed it up for you. I drove home and picked up the smoke and brought it back to my office.

Pre-light: A bit of an airy draw, but not terrible. (Could be from sitting in the PO for a few days after transit.)
Medium Brown with a slight reddish hue.
Some pronounced veins, but nothing outrageous.
    Looks good

    1st, 2nd, 3rd: Good amount of smoke.
    Fairly bitter, with no sweetness.
    Tastes like tobacco.
Cap fell apart at the start of the 2nd 3rd.
Wrapper began to peel soon after.
Had to touch it up only once, so it burned nicely.
Ash hung on for about 1".

Overall: I enjoyed it, even with a few minor annoyances. (Most of those were phone calls and people coming into my office.) The cigar itself was uneventful, but would be a good golf course stogie.

My 1st thought was Honduran, but I changed my mind and think I'm gonna go with Brazilian.

    So, Brazilian Puro?

I do play at some very nice golf courses btw. Next time, remember I like the '64's better.

I'll get the prize pack ready this evening and ship tomorrow.

    I do.

I will post up my puts later, along with a list of the entire pass. I don't believe that is common knowledge at this point, but will be in a few hours.

It would be the only puro I had half a chance of identifying.
