Speaking of "saving my pennies" - during my recent cruise/visit to Victoria, BC I paid a visit to a cigar store. The prices were not exactly fantastic, but the selection was out of this world. Momma let me pick up a few goodies!!!

    2X VR Famosos
2X VR Regional Release (Canada) - looks like Edmundo size
2X Partagas Serie D #4 (one of my FAVORITES)
    5X Por Larranaga PC's

The numbers were low - I really did not want to press my luck.
Nice selection, I'm sure you enjoyed them a lot while smoking them all in Canadian/International waters!

Yeah, sadly our gov't puts the screws to us with regard to tobacco and alcohol which I'm sure you noticed. Typically we're paying about 3 times as much for the same cigar here as you would in the US. But on the plus side, having a nice selection of some ISOM's does sort of make up for it. I"m a huge fan of the Partagas Series D's myself and if I had any pennies left over, I'd order a couple as I'm completely out.

Wow! Nice selection! I'll bet that cost more than a dollar or two!

I wanted a variety. Buying singles can be costly. I grabbed about 50/50 smokes I've had and smokes I haven't.

I went back to my local shop to grab more Las Calaveras and ended up with a couple more than I intended. I did end up with the Las Cala LC46 box though.

1 - H. Upman Vintage Cameroon Rothchilde Tubo

1 - RP Edge Maduro Toro

    1 - Arturo F. Hemingway Classic Perfecto

    4 - Las Calaveras LC50

    2 - Las Calaveras LC46

I love the smoke and the box is nice.

True enough, so many cigars! I'm stocked pretty good now counting the padron split. I still want to split a box of San cristobals.

Me too, Edge Man. Bobalu sampler arrived today. Not a bad deal for 25 bucks w/ free shipping. I know they roll good cigars.

Fuzzy lookin pic. What's with that?

@webmost I've had three of the smokes in your sampler. The Triple Lijero, Texas Select (great smoke-I keep some of these around) and Sun grown Habano. I'd be interested to know how they turned out for you. I have a San Andreas Maduro resting now that I've yet to try. Smoked a Vintage 1991 today. Decent smoke.

I've been smoking cigars off and on for 12 years or so. I had always bought singles. If you told me my first box would be Drew Estate I would have given you the middle finger and smiled.

I got this a month or two ago. I've smoked two. First was great. Second was good albeit rushed. I'll let them chill for a bit.

Man I'd get an earful from the better half if I ever tried to lay out my cigar collection and take pictures... It sure would make quite a mess! (I got a couple-three cigars in my collection) LOL

I'll give you the middle finger if you don't send me that box of cigars!!! LOL

But I hear you! There was a time back in the day (I hate to admit) that I was "interested" in Drew Estate cigars. It was a passing fad at the time (especially the Acid line) In retrospect - largely . But the Liga Privada line does have my interest - I've not had a bad experience yet.
