Wifes birthday so I took her out for a Mexican Dinner since she has to work tonight. I had steak fajitas. Now I feel like a nice cigar.....imagine that.
May your ashes be long and your smoke be plentiful...

I'm not much of a braggart, unless it's something I did, but damn this whole meal just came out awesome. I keep thinking about it. The salmon / tuna was totally delicious, and the rabe was a great compliment, as well as the rosemary potato wedges. Mmmmm. Oh, and I forgot to mention that wifey made a radish dip with cream cheese and butter that was really good with fritos. Think I might go snag some more now.

Grilled pork chops & sausage. Maybe I'll make something else to go with it...maybe not.

I had a bowl of burgoo and a glass of fresh cider. Good, hearty fall meal.

Had leftovers tonight of a sausage pasta thing:

    1# italian sausage
    1 stalk celery
    1 large onion
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 can of stewed tomatoes
    1/3 cup rice vinegar
    2 cups of water
8oz (half box) of Penne pasta.

Chop celery, onion, and cut sausage into 1/4" slices. Brown in large cooking pot with celery, onion, garlic powder and pepper.
Add rice vinegar and cook until soaked in (sorta)

Add tomatoes, water and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer, and add pasta. Cook 12min, done.

Top with basil and Parmesan cheese. I guarantee, you'll want to eat the whole thing in a sitting.
