Default Buying Cigars in Cuba - Pricelist

Does anybody have any reference to an uptodate pricelist for boxes of cigars purchased IN Cuba? I have a friend going down and want them to bring me back a few boxes... but want to make sure that they are legit sticks. (she knows nothing of cigars).

My recommendation was to purchase them at the international airport (where i heard they are legit) but also wanted to give some price references to make sure that they are real.

    Any thoughts or recommendations?

I suppose since you are Canadian, where Cuban cigars are legal, it is ok, but generally Cuban cigars are a taboo topic here.
I would suggest talking privately to a few of our Canadian members who have had the pleasure of spending time on the island about where it is and is not cool to buy cigars. I'm sure they would be happy to help a guy out.

Just make sure she purchases them from an official store, I think they're called Casa de la Habana or something like that. Also, definitely ask about the vat on coming back in to Canada, it seems to be the place where you guys get taxed on everything, especially tobacco.

Yop, the Man speaks the truth. For reference, it's Casa del Habanos, and they're all over the place. Many larger reworts even have smaller shops right on site. Selection will vary, but prices should be the same everywhere, and close to, if not the same, as Basil posted above.
