    Default Your favorite ashtray?

how many of you guys actually own ashtrays? Of those who don't, if you were to get an ashtray, which one would you look at getting?

I imagion that if i could smoke at home, i would have a ashtray, but i dont have one now. There are a bunch of nice looking ashtrays. The Stinky and a porcilin LFD (round, white and holds 3 or 4 sticks) or Padron ashtray (square, black and holds 4 sticks) would be the ones i would like to buy.

This is the only ashtray I currently use

I like the CAO "Cubist" and the Stinky also.

I think, were I to buy an ashtray, I would go for the stinky. As it is currently, I use a rock that is shaped in a way that it has a psuedo stirrup for a single cigar.......works for me since I smoke alone most of the time at home.

I have 2 stinkys and the round ceramic Montecristo 70th. The Montecristo has never been out of the box as it's more of an indoor ashtray and I only smoke in the garage or on the patio.

I have a stinky and a rock ashtray that is heavy enough to break someones skull open. It holds four cigars and has a pretty big bowl that is receded on the edges. But the stinky is my #1. Love it. Recommend it. And use it daily!

for indoors, would you use a Stinky, or something that is more visually appealing?

Ive currently got the CI smiley 3 finger puck ashtray.

Im lookin at getting a new one strictly for outside, as Im tired of having to always move my ashtray. So Im looking around for a new one to keep outside. Something with at big bowl. Ive been looking at the CI deep dish 4 finger and the stinky. Not sure which would be better to get to leave outside in the elements.

One of my stinky's is outside year-round and is great. No rust, wipes out easily, does the job.

Hmm, might have to think about that one harder then. As that would be a really big plus.

Nice thing about cigars is that they have no paper or filter, just leaves! Thus, they mulch easily. Toss them in the side yard and hit the suckers with the mower next time you cut. You don't get much more biodegradable than that!

I mostly just use the ground, but when at home, in a townhome, I don't have the availability of a lawnmower. So all cigar ash and buts get kept in the latest emptied coffee can.

Although, if I had all the money in the world, I did once use a sweet single-cigar crystal ashtray that I have yet to find one like it. I used it at a fancy-schmancy hotel a few months ago. They actually took away the cigarette ashtray and put the cigar ashtray in it's place.

I need to design an ashtray that looks just like a coffee cup, for people who smoke and read the morning paper like Ricky Ricardo

I got 2 of the step CAO's. One has been used once. IN the garage I made one out of a 1949 Knuckhead cylinder with the piston welded into the bottom. Get a pic later

I won a serious piece of cigar bling over at CigarSnobs in a raffle - a crystal LE 124/250 ashtray. I've never used it though.

When I'm inside I use my hand.
The bowl is a little small and I NEVER stub out my smoke.
But the price is just right.
I've been looking at yard sales for one in the 25-50¢ range.

I would never pay more then 50 cents at a yard sale.
