Thread: Ashton 8-9-8

  1. Default Ashton 8-9-8

Ashton 8-9-8 ; My personal favorite, its a lighter cigar with little oil. the smoke is also light but I love the longevity of it and flavor. its a 6.5x44 and the burn time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. anyone else ever tried this cigar or any of the ashtons?

I tried an Ashton Corona last night and enjoyed it. Burn time was about an hour. Tasted pretty good. Twas my first "real" cigar (no more blunts!).

had one of these about a week ago. i didn't care much for it. not enough flavor. i only smoked about half of it, though. the second half could have been better.

I like most of the original Ashton line. One of my favorite smokes when I was newer to 'gars, and remains a go-to brand when I can get them at a decent price (almost never). LIke the size of the 898's as well. Everything seems to be 50+ these days.

I've tried almost all the Ashton line and am quite fond of all it, but not so much of the VSG's.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

As far as I'm concerned, all ashtons are awesome!

VSGs are pretty good IMO. aged maduros are ok at best. everything else from ashton i've had is pretty flavorless and boring.

Are we rewriting English rules? My eyes ran over the grammar problem for 2 weeks before I noticed it.

BTW, I had an Ashton 8-9-8 at a cigar bar in a local casino, and I thought it tasted pretty good. I haven't smoked too many cigars though, so my opinion might not always be valid.
