Thread: Running Mates

    Default Running Mates

McCain meets with the NAACP today to try and get a little sympathy for being so white. Why wouldn't he blow this whole race wide open and choose Condi Rice as his running mate? Black, Female, Smart, Foreign Policy Ace, why not? Would he not because she's Bush administration?

Just think, if McCain wins, this would be the first time in history that the First Lady bought a round for everyone who voted.

Barack had better go ahead and sign Hillary up before it's too late.

lol, no injury to me, but previous political discussion on this board led to a lot of damage. I'm sure everyone here could promise to be civil and polite, but I guarantee it wouldn't end that way.
Even an innocuous post like Deedubya's could lead to a huge pissing match. I just think it would be best to avoid the topic altogether.

Ha... I wasn't referring to your injury, I was referring to mine!

I agree... best to stay away. We're all enjoying each other again.

As a Canadian I always look to the boards of the hobbies that I partake in for advice on who to vote for in the elections of other countries. Just last week someone on the painting forum that I belong to was suggesting that Raul Castro might not make the best President of Cuba, but that he had no real contenders. Then on the Body Mod forum there were discussions of who to vote for since Kim Jong-il appeared not long for office either.

But then again, since I can't vote I think I'll leave the politics at home. And as for the Canadian elections that I can vote in, I don't even discuss those with my wife
Just a stay at home dad (retired until I choose otherwise, thanks Canadian Army medical pension) hanging out and enjoying the good life.
