    Default Music to Smoke by

So i was looking on youtube at some videos by bands i like, and i remembered this song, it is very aptly titled http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7usTgw-7XfM.

Anyways while this is my favorite genre, i generally don't smoke to that kind of music. Being at OSU the apropriate band here for any occason is generally O.A.R. who hail from Ohio State. Other than them i'll throw on some Creedance or maybe even Styx. What does everyone else listen to while they enjoy a smoke (assuming your your enjoying music at all)?

Every time I hear "Woke Up This Morning" by A3 I feel like lighting up. It's the theme from The Soprano's for those not sure.
Just a stay at home dad (retired until I choose otherwise, thanks Canadian Army medical pension) hanging out and enjoying the good life.

I listen to chill music usually while smoking. Some Bowie "Modern Love" and "Blue Jean".

    Noah and the Whale
    Death Cab
    Interpol
    Vampire Weekend
    Minus the Bear
    Avett Brothers

    Stuff like that usually.

I guess it really depends on what I'm doing. I enjoy a diverse variety of music: I've made mixed CD's for friends that feature White Zombie, Herbie Hancock, DJ Mark Farina, Public Enemy, Steve Earle, Jim Croce, and Tony Bennett, to name a few.

If I had to choose music I enjoy smoking to the most, it's probably these artists, in no particular order:

    Buena Vista Social Club
    Billie Holliday
    Louis Armstrong
    Miles Davis
    Julie London
    Nina Simone
    John Coltrane

Good question. Jazz is probably my favorite type of music.
