Tobacco grown in Cuba from the information I have read is unique mainly because of the soil and micro climate unique to Cuba. IIRC, the article I read mentioned a relatively high lithium content in the soil as one of the main contributors.

Unfortunately for you, living in Miami Florida you cannot legally purchase Cuban cigars, and any "Cuban" cigars you find locally will 100% be fake.
