Gentlemen, I was looking for a cigar forum when I came upon this one. It's not about people here but posts and there is no equality at all because the only opinions you care about are your own. You treat newcomers with no respect whatsoever as you mock them and if they don't fit your 'mold' and act accordingly then they are given a thumbs down attitude or worse yet, they EDIT your words and attack you. NEW MEMBERS BEWARE if you are looking for a laid back forum you won't find it here because these members who are led by a few malcontents will attack if you don't say or opine in the manner that they feel is in their interests or opinions. I am sure the administrator didn't have this in mind when he started this site or else he would not have written the rule that I stated.

I wouldn't even waste my time in reporting Basil as he is already at the bottom of the food chain and there isn't anything else I could do in this regard. For those who read this and don't submit your opinion be careful how you choose to submit any future opinions in the future and good luck to you.

Leave it to a few to screw up something decent for the rest. There are too many other cigar forums out there where decent people still go. For all of your offensive language you like to use on here that only condemns who you are as a person which I know you will never understand because you are already total reprobates. You know something? We should stage asshat beat downs once a month so that we can weed out persons like ROCKYPATELSOLDERBROTHER. Get them all worked up.


What some noobs don't understand in the beginning is that we are protecting the community. Things like this weed out those that at some point would be an issue. I have seen others step on their own dick but they have come back from it. The person realized what they did, said a straight up sorry with out the but, and took full responsibility for their actions. Now they weren't given a clean slate but they did get the chance to prove themselves as a stand up BOTL over time.


Now a good thing to come out of this is that we got George and Bruce posting a little more here.

After your post, I'm wondering if you're not truly clueless. I really don't think so because I'd like to think your opinions come from your total ignorance to the overall community (as evidenced by your sign-on date and post count).

Thankfully this is not a contest to speculate on who the biggest Internet meanie is. As has been previous mentioned (ad nauseum, I might add) others have stepped on their dick early on, but later recovered.

To your credit, I'll just take a wait and see attitude. Time and participation are the ultimate gauge of true worth to the community.

As George said, confused. Yes to the First Amendment - free speech, to the death and all that. Congress shall make no law, yadda, yadda. You may express your opinion, but not without cost. You say "A", I say "B", then comes the debate. The audience hears the arguments and line up on the most convincing side. If you can't or won't stand behind what you say, you should stay quiet. That is the price of free speech.

The only thing I'd like to add is regarding that shitty quote you used. We've had some low-lifes come on here, get their feelings hurt, and in the ensuing meltdown make some pretty heinous statements - racisism, threats of physical and sexual violence to members here and/or their family members. Will you defend that to the hilt soli? Try it and you'll be thrown out so fast you'll be digging yourself out of your defendent's ass.

rockypatelsassholebrother's BS may've sounded relatively mild, but if on a severity scale (call it a troll scale) of 1-100 a racist remark might register in the 80's, and rockyetc.'s polite little contribution in the 20's, the two of them both still have the scale in common. A delicate troll is still a troll - someone who with blustering, threats, haranguing, whining, or whatever, believes he will come onto a forum and arrogantly try to change that forum and the thinking within.
