I don't have a huge post count for the amount of time I have been around but I don't act like a dumbass so everyone here knows I'm the shit. As a result I never have trouble participating in trades etc. and have a lot of great sticks in my box mostly from this board.

I don't assume anything on here but would like to at least say that everyone deserves a second chance and as we all know people make mistakes and at least be given a chance to redeem themselves. Who in these forums has never made a mistake or who in any forum as not stepped on their genitals in their life? I would hope that this forum of men/women that we are all equal and we can come on here and enjoy the fruits of this board and have a good time.

I am now ready for any tomatoes or old heads of lettuce to be thrown at me as I just put on my helmet.

There seems to be some very good people on here who just want to share their ideas and stories about cigars on here without having to read somebodys posts that just stir up trouble. Here is the problem with your second chance theory,,,,,,,this guy has had them. Did you read any of the links posted in this thread? I hope you did not,,,,,because if you did and still choose to stand up for this clown, your time here will not be pleasant either.

He has made no apology for any of his actions, but rather rationalized them as everybody elses problem,,,,,,,just a bunch of meanies we are, much as you are trying to say as well. Until proven otherwise, ALL members are treated with the basic respect that all human beings deserve, so in that sense yes, we are all equal. However, in the sense of equality in sharing the fruits of this community,,,,,,,NO, we are most definitely NOT all equal. You must earn your place in the community through your daily interactions with others, that is how it worked for everybody else here. Cigary has earned exactly the amount of respect he is getting.

I'd like to personally thank those involved for filling about 45 minutes of my morning with this drama. I just made the comment last night to my wife that I needed a good book to read, at the least, I can be satisfied to postpone this till this weekend.

Your expectation of a clean slate without the judgement is not realistic, especially with the number of boards and small groups in the cigar world. Gentlemen, I was looking for a cigar forum when I came upon this one. It's not about people here but posts and there is no equality at all because the only opinions you care about are your own. You treat newcomers with no respect whatsoever as you mock them and if they don't fit your 'mold' and act accordingly then they are given a thumbs down attitude or worse yet, they EDIT your words and attack you. NEW MEMBERS BEWARE if you are looking for a laid back forum you won't find it here because these members who are led by a few malcontents will attack if you don't say or opine in the manner that they feel is in their interests or opinions. I am sure the administrator didn't have this in mind when he started this site or else he would not have written the rule that I stated.

I wouldn't even waste my time in reporting Basil as he is already at the bottom of the food chain and there isn't anything else I could do in this regard. For those who read this and don't submit your opinion be careful how you choose to submit any future opinions in the future and good luck to you.

I'm still laughing to myself over a few of these so called men on here who feel they have to flex their online muscles to make themselves feel superior. Leave it to a few to screw up something decent for the rest. There are too many other cigar forums out there where decent people still go. I've only been registered here for for a month(1 month exactly actually. YAY ME!) and I was greeted and welcomed here with the utmost respect.

Learn to adapt. NEWBIES DON'T BEWARE, this is a good community with a ton of great info and good people. Just don't come in expecting to change the world, join for what it is, not for what YOU want to make it.
